they are a lot of good ones in this. I might try the chabana fever to use for under other nail colors like neon and orange. did you use any under coat for any of these?
@@noraledford487 No undercoat for any of them. Just placed them right on the swatch wheel. 👍🏻 Cabana Fever is a beautiful white matte but I will say it does a little fast. The newer neons that China Glaze came out with don’t require a white base. Plus I think they improved some of their neon formulas like Orange Knockout. 🧡
This was fun to watch! I’m late to the China Glaze game to it was great to see which collections these polishes came from. I definitely need to check out the Capitol Colors collection. I’d love to see your full CG collection! Maybe go in rainbow order plus pink, neutrals, black and white?

I used another swatch wheel for comparisons and I'm showing a gloss/matte finish on each of the creme/neons. @@melisaspur032 Well I used to do gel nails like 5 years ago, but I got into nail art and then starting changing my nails every couple of days. I couldn't do gels anymore however I didn't know that you could use a peel off base coat with them. I've heard that if you use a peel off base coat like UNT with gel it'll last longer than regular polish. I'm planning on trying this out on my natural nails to see if it really works.

Whoa! It's been a minute since I check out my original bottle of Drop Dead Gorgeous but the last time I looked my base wasn't that red! I should pull it out again. I was tremendously disappointed with the MSM dupe of it. The original had a lovely nude base and the MSM base has so much yellow. I applied it once, tried to make it look good, and then chucked it in my destach bucket. 😭
Yeah I was surprised that my bottle of DLTDB turned so deep in color! It’s been a while since I looked at it but yeah it’s super gross looking. 🤢 I’m chucking bottles of my bottles of DLTDB in the rubbish bin! When I saw the MSM dupe I didn’t think it was that bad since I remember seeing a photo of what the original CG polish looked like in the beginning. It does a slight yellow tint but that’s better than the 80’s pepto bismol wallpaper color my CG polish turned into! 😂🤣 Thanks for watching!

Does Pink voltage have a terrible formula? I have it on my wishlist but I don't like streaky nail polishes, sheer nail polishes and bald spots on my nails! Do I need white base under and is it very bright in real life? 🙂
Pink Voltage seems to be reformulated so it’s not streaky. I didn’t need a white base but I think it required 2-3 coats. It dries fast but not super fast. 👍🏻💅🏻
I’ll be honest I haven’t thrown a polish away for the exception of “Don’t Let The Dead Bite” because the glitters bled into the base and made the polish look ugly in my option. Otherwise polish can last a very long time as long as you apply nail polish thinner not acetone! Nail polish thinner has the chemicals to help “rehydrate” the polish that evaporate over time. A lot of these polishes are older and they still look fantastic! The key is also to clean the neck of the bottle to help make sure the polish doesn’t dry out. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and I hope this helps answer your question. Btw you can pick up nail polish thinner at Sally’s beauty store for $3.00.

Does Pink voltage have a terrible formula? I have it on my wishlist but I don't like streaky nail polishes, sheer nail polishes and bald spots on my nails! Do I need white base under and is it very bright in real life? 🙂
Pink Voltage seems to be reformulated so it’s not streaky. I didn’t need a white base but I think it required 2-3 coats. It dries fast but not super fast. 👍🏻💅🏻
How long does nail polish last before it has to be thrown away?
I’ll be honest I haven’t thrown a polish away for the exception of “Don’t Let The Dead Bite” because the glitters bled into the base and made the polish look ugly in my option. Otherwise polish can last a very long time as long as you apply nail polish thinner not acetone! Nail polish thinner has the chemicals to help “rehydrate” the polish that evaporate over time. A lot of these polishes are older and they still look fantastic! The key is also to clean the neck of the bottle to help make sure the polish doesn’t dry out. 👍🏻 Thanks for watching and I hope this helps answer your question.
