Only one comment for a year old posting on this amazing painting? Where is everybody? If I could, I would buy your beautiful painting in a flash. I love the greens, the lavender in the wings. All this intricate work of keeping the white from the paper. How? How? I do have a question, where do you buy the masking fluid quill you presented? I am just in love with your art and happy to know you live in Mtl. I am from QC living west and just wish I could meet you!
Hi Elaine! I sometimes do wonder where everybody is haha! But I'm too busy painting to worry much about algorithms 😀. I'm glad you like this piece. Here's the link to the timelapse video th-cam.com/video/FRRamCoFa9g/w-d-xo.html I do have a special way of using masking fluid; lots of artists don't like it but it works for me in these kinds of pieces. The quill is just a cheap one from amazon, normally used for ink. Be sure to use either Winsor & Newton masking fluid or Sennellier. They're the best one's I've found (so far). Feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to answer. This painting is available, but I also have signed prints. You can find them on my website www.jclittleportraits.com/art-prints/reading-the-menu-print
@@JCLittle Thank you so so much for the timelapse video. I never thought to ask but wished for it, like you have read my mind. Happy painting and so look forward to see your work in the future. I love what you do :) Thank you once again :)
