    I ordered this device a week or two ago and am excited to test it out! I don't have a fast car (2018 Skoda Rapid Spaceback with 95 HP 😅) but I like to know the stats anyway. And my pops has a 2016 Volvo V60 T4 with 200 HP, I wonder how "fast" that car is. I guess it also serves as incentive for me to work harder and get a faster car to test this Racebox out with.

    From where i can get this mount for the racebox mini ? And what is the weight difference between the racebox mini and the original racrbox ?

    • @Revmatchmedia
      @Revmatchmedia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here is the link to the mount. It isn't the best option since the suction cups aren't really that good. It also wont let you mount the mini facing up which i had to resort to upside down which isn't recommended by racebox. As far as the weight difference, I couldnt find exact number but theyre pretty similar since the mini has the magnet in it and makes it weigh about the same of the larger unit. • @SpeedsterIG
    @SpeedsterIG ปีที่แล้ว

    It's not adviced to mount the unit upside down. The patch antenna sits beneath the red Logo und should be pointed to the sky. Only this way you will get best reception and accuracy (avoiding multipath signal reception).

    Do you prefer the mini over the original?

    • @Revmatchmedia
      @Revmatchmedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. I think for quick runs I like the mini more. For example, when I’m filming my car reviews, I usually have info that I’m looking at on my phone as well as have apple CarPlay to show it off in the review. Remember that the phone does have to be with the mini to get the data from it. If you’re in a car, and want to see live feedback, you’ll need to mount your phone as well. It’s also got the hill climb feature plus splash resistant. Don’t forget to charge your phone!
      That’s where the original one does better. With the built in screen, you have the live feedback and don’t need your phone with you. Downside is the size and obviously the price (use code revmatch5 for discount on either). I’ve also had people buy both to use them the way I mentioned. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any other questions. You can also join the Facebook group for more info.

    I'm really disappointed that it doesn't do more than four measurements at a time. This really makes it inferior to Dragy. I was really looking forward to the 25Hz satellites, and that part is very accurate but only four measurements? Really? And you also can't seem to get your quarter mile times out of kph. What about us us people that use mph? I don't want to have to keep googling my trap speeds.

  • @BL-nt9vh
    @BL-nt9vh 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Will this automatically reset when you go back to 0 mph? And, will it continue to record data even if your phone goes to sleep? The p-gear stops recording when the phone goes to sleep which is the reason I didn't get it.

    • @Revmatchmedia
      @Revmatchmedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will do a second run when you go to 0 and start again. This is what RaceBox’s CTO had to say about that.
      Doesn’t matter where you keep the phone. As for locking - it depends. Some phones are too aggressive with their power saving and disconnect the BLE when in background. As long as you drive the app should maintain it unlocked so you should be OK.
