I'm so glad you showed spotting for Mama Mia. I had envisioned an acrobatic spotter and I couldn't imagine something like that in a live show. I'm really looking forward to seeing Mama Mia which is still playing in 2024. By the way you seem to be setting a new trend with brown and white spotted skates.
That was pretty cool! So is spotting part of your job or did you volunteer to do that? So interesting seeing all the background stuff!
I have been skating for 6 years and recently started coaching. I am graduating high school next year and thought of doing something like this. I stumbled across ur channel and I think it's so cool!!! :) What was the audition process like???

Adventure of the Seas. In 2017.
I was originally supposed to be cruising on Freedom of the Seas (changed to Allure of the Seas then cancelled) in 2021, but pandemic stuff.

That I am not entirely sure, I'm sorry! and If married couples are "registered", they get a cabin together with 1 double bed instead of bunk beds

What ice shows are on Allure, I've only worked studio b on oasis which just had frozen in time (stat wise a pretty easy show). Wondering what Allure had

Wait the ice rink is on the boat? That is so cool! You skate amazingly! I used to compete until I moved and now I can't skate competitively as before. Luckily I might be competing soon with my skating club. Any tips for landing axel/double jumps, I'm having a hard time,with the axel, my coach wants me to land it for a program.

I think I’ve set some sort of record. Two cruises and I’ve never seen a show of any kind or done any other activities like games of trivia or whatever. My grandson was with me on both cruises (RC) and I love skating, but I was either supervising him or too exhausted after dinner to do anything but crash. Maybe next time!

@@jbauth Good morning! Grandson is 13 now and he absolutely wants to cruise again. We went in ‘19 and ‘20, (just before the lockdown) and would have gone this year - oh well. Growing up in Michigan meant skating on lagoons, ponds and lakes as well as indoors. I never got to take serious lessons though. When you introduced your parents, I thought about all the support they must have given you over many years to help you pursue your love of skating. Great people!
