    Been watching several different methods for building these accent walls, and this video was the most complete as far as I'm concerned. Beautiful end produce, which is the point.

    FYI do not use construction glue if you think you will ever want to remove the boards in the future! It will destroy the drywall and be a headache to repair. Brad nails are sufficient on their own and will keep the boards in place (even if you don't hit a stud) with easy removal :)
    I created my own accent wall and consulted with a guy who does these accent walls for a living.

      Extremely great tip - I was wondering if that would work because I’ll I kept thinking was about how these walls will be destroyed when people tire of this trend and decide to rip the boards down. Thanks!

    That makes the whole room look totally different and it didn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Awesome stuff 🙌🏻

      Doesn't it! Not bad! Such an easy (relatively) project for a dramatic change. Thanks for watching!

    Nice work! Im going to tackle this on my new home. Wouldn't it be easier to prime the walls and MDF before beginning and then touch up the primer where needed prior to paint?

    Great video!
    I want to do the same but on a regular/concrete wall (not a drywall), assuming that I'm using MDF, how can I stick that to the wall?
    Can PVC and adhesive be better in this case?

    I see it's a textured wall. Did you not feel the need to sand it down before starting the project?

      MDF for everything. 1x3 for the cross pieces in the middle. Good luck with your project!

    I’ve watched several of these for inspiration, this is by far the worst I’ve seen 😂

    The whole reason I watched this video was to learn how to determine the angles to cut…. So massive fail on that front.

    • @CCSandSonsWorkshop
      @CCSandSonsWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      Consider it a success instead in that you learned you don't need to calculate the angles! Thanks for watching!
