I always felt that Nankai's 50000 series trains are among some of the more unique and unusual-looking trains around the world. The front of the train especially often reminds me of a medieval knight's helmet.
This train(head) looks like an helmet from a kingsguardian from an old ancient empire !! Japenese people are very strange to me... but they are beautiful !!
Those induction motors also sound like the future - like they're gonna fold space! Odd design but that's why I love Japanese culture... They have that "why not?" ethic
