70 year old BTS Army here. Agust D is a rapper and one of the 7 members of BTS known as Suga. He uses Agust D for his solo work. He also is one of their main producers and wrote and produced this song. This is the title track. Famous DJ and producer Steve Aoki stated he is a musical genius. I agree. His MV "Daechwita" is a prequel to this song. He left South Korea recently for a sold out world tour and is the first rapper in history to sell 1 million copies of an album on the first day of release. This song deserved a 10. REMARKABLE!!! 💜
Haegeum - classical Korean instrument with two strings, kind of "folksy" and often used to convey a lot of emotion. Can also mean "breaking a ban" a.k.a. "liberation". So double meaning. The "prequel" to this song/MV is Daechwita, which is official music played when the king/emperor arrives, or when his army arrives, i.e. very official and set. He's said that this is a trilogy, and when he releases the MV for Amygdala next week, we should watch them in order (Daechwita, Haegeum and Amygdala) to get the full story. The whole fecking Album is top tier its just smashed Drake's precious record. Suga (aka Agust D) new Album this is from called D-Day sold over 1millions Physical copies on it's release day. He's the only Rapper to do a solo sell out tour of the US and make over 30million US dollars.
Music 7.6? This is a back track for a rap . Not a singing song with intricate musical content. For a rap it's genius as it does flow with the lyrics. You didn't dig deep in to the lyrics and I think this is a style you are unfamiliar with. I hope you watch more and start to understand how the musical content of Agust D's albums and mixtapes flow, he's got the musical content your ears are use to also, give him a chance, i think you'll really enjoy!

Does anyone know what using numbers to rate means? When I was in school, 76 out of 100 (7.6 out of 10 basically) would come with the letter D. In other words, poor. An 83 would be a C or average. Whether that was your intention I do not know but those numbers were applied before lyrical analysis of the second verse. You used a time stamps as the yardstick. Hmm. I personally would prefer you give your opinions to throwing numbers at us. And I definitely will say my opinion of midstream application of numbers is not positive. It seems a kind of lazy replacement of verbal analysis.

BTW the BTS members are shareholders in company. He not only wrote, composed and produced this he wrote the story board for his MV. He's an award wining Producer. That is a real place and it's in Thailand and it was extremely hot when he was shooting this MV.
