Thank you for this video, and answering the question of why a rebuild kit can’t be found. Now I can scrap metal this pump with a clear conscience lol.

Amazing info. I got 3 years out of mine. I guess it's a throw away. Going to check my tank for cracks. TY

A fraction over 5 years for mine. Started overheating on hot afternoons. I guess mine is going in the bin too. It was replaced with a HiBlow 80. Let's see how that goes! I wish I had known a good replacement model beforehand - I could have bought it cheaper on EBay than what the septic service people charged me!

I have the la-120. It lasted 3 years. Output is drastically reduced. A rebuild kit is 155 but read that if the sleeve is worn out the rebuild kit is a waste of money. Any advice. Thinking of lubing up the seals and see what happens.

Issue we have the 120 sometimes and i think they resolved the issue is there is a tank on the bottom the air goes through and it gets a crack where it screws into be secured to the housing. That could also be the issue.

Idk if youll see this, but my air outlet snapped off the unit (its old). I was planning on epoxying it back on but when I opened it up i wasn't sure if it was all intact.
Yours looks like there is an internal hose that goes to the air outlet (then connected to your pvc with another hose). Mine appears to be a harder plastic on the inside, coming off the motor. It looks cracked/chipped, but i couldn't find any remnants. Surely the whole housing doesnt act as a chamber? I saw the gaskets but im thinkng the outlet from the motor must be a hose or pipe of some sort that goes to the joint hose/ outlet. Ill have to take a closer look but is there replacement parts for this or possibly i can just use a new hose?

There might be you would have to send in pictures of what your looking at to see we can get most of the parts for them.

@@wholesalesepticsupply9801 Ill take another look today. My unit is actually a different brand "H.E. McGrew Inc" model HEM-LA80, I havent found anything about this model but going off the manuals it appears nearly identical to the medo brand models. The only parts ive been able to find were piston replacements.

Some of the diaphragm models they don’t make anymore are going on 15-20. No one knows why they stopped making them.

we don't sell a rebuild, hiblow does, guess I know who i am buying the replacement from since these POS break every 1.5 years (it was the 80s, they are just as faulty imo)

I would say that. I’m that time it has went back and fourth 10 billion times no maintenance. Run your car no maintenance at 1800 rpm for five years straight see how long it last. No many things can do that. It is frustrating that you can’t get the same pressure out it runs just not the same most of the ones we have put out in the field from a installer point go about 6-7 years.
