The scalp is the hottest part of your head. When it comes to bleaching, don't start at the roots. Chemical burns and itching etc... If it burns too bad, milk will stop the burns immediately. Literally. Just a couple tips. :3
I bought a pack lately and it says no longer than 20 minutes. I would go with 10-15 minutes in batches if it doesn't get light enough. Also, you should wait a week between bleaches at least with boxed mix.

My hair is natural white gray/ silver on the root and about 5 fingers down around the center of my head, and then it's pretty much ombre of lavender, pinkish red,magenta mixed with black and dark grey..I'm wanting to go midnight ruby, oy because I've never had red in all my years, I'm 64 now..abd I might just bleach the outer surface because I like the darkness underneath, and I'm half blind so it's just a we bit harder for me to dye it..😢 I hate it..walls always jump into my way 😅

Even if it doesn't turn out like we want it's fun doing our hair. First time I died mine with Kool aid in middle school and me & my friend walked around the mall like we were so cool. I always tell people at a certain age there's not much we can change but we can change our hair 😄
Healthy hair to start. Don't wash it before and don't leave it on too long. Only bleach it once. Let your hair rest atleast 6 weeks before you bleach it again. I've never had any issues with the bleach so I wouldn't worry. From my research experience it's normally over bleaching that causes it to fall out. I would test a strand on the ends to see. It will be yellow so don't freak out just tone it and it will take out the yellow. Let me know how it turns out!!

The purple conditioner might work. I use a couple drops of purple dye mixed with conditioner to tone mine. I have a video on toning it if you wanna check it out! I rinse it and then I let my homemade toner sit in my hair for 15-20 minutes then rinse. I rinse out the bleach with warm water but rinse out the toner or purple conditioner with cool water. Toning is key to blonde hair. I had so many failed attempts until I discovered toning 🙃
OMG..I am dying for first time as well as bleaching a portion for hopefully under color. I hope I mixed my bleach with the right additive! I spilled some of the bleach powder and your bleach looks more watery as mine is like a paste ....help

The dye is mixed with conditioner it doesn't stain as much and washes off easily with soap. I already wash my hands alot. Not wearing gloves makes it easier to apply for me. It's a preference. I only wear gloves when applying the bleach. The color on my hands makes me feel artsy 🫶
Sure you figured out how long by now but the directed online say check hair in 10mims and don't leave longer than 30min then shampoo and rinse until product is thoroughly removed and last step was to dry hair of course lol

I'd suggest doing it in multiple intervals. You should wait at least 4-6 weeks between the applications and id strongly suggest starting with unwashed hair. You'll want those oils, it goes a long way when bleaching

Do it on dirty hair and use a leave in conditioner after. I think frying comes from repeated applications of bleach in a short period of time. One time won't fry it. Just Do it 😉 I just bleached half mine a couple weeks ago. Still trying to tone it but it's a work in progress 🤣

i died my hair black like 4 months ago and yesterday i used splat blond on my hair . my hair came out orange . so today, 3 days later i went to go buy more splat blond hairdye . in 14 days i will use splat again to achieve the blond color . id dye it right now but it says on the package to dye it after 14 days after previously bleaching so id rather wait than get my hair falling out ...... i hope in 14 days i can achieve the blond color that i want
Nah you don't have to wait to bleach it. if ur hair is healthy go for it. I bleach my hair twice cause I have dark hair. But using professional products or buying ur own bleach powder and developer works a lot better. I've been platinum blonde years and Im Spanish with naturally dark hair

I once tried to go from jet black back to blonde and the damage to my hair and funky colors. I had orange before it was cool 😂 blue fades beautifully. What brand is it? Check out my most recent video. My hair had a little pink and the bleach just lightened the pink. So with blue it's way more pigmented.

I’m using the same dye rn and it was very powdery and I put it over brown and purple splat dye that’s been on my hair for awhile and I hope it works

What does mixing the splat purple with conditioner do?
It just tones out the yellow. Like a homemade purple conditioner.

All I did was mix the bleach with the water I don't understand if you put the reconstructor in before or after and then use the shampoo it's not clear

It's midnight blue from Loreal Colorista. I would just let it wash out naturally with shampoo.

15 minutes for the roots no more than 25 minutes for the rest. Yes my hair was damp when I applied the dye
