This fight is badass as hell, I love the concept of it. Switching between void and Daeva is so cool, though I personally feel it would be cooler if it wasn't tied directly to oryx. You could really go ham designing some crazy god shapes if it didn't have to be oryx-shaped Also, putting the boss dialogue in the top left is a genius idea! I hope deca themselves start doing this!
Damn, how amazing, I would love the fact of being alone, the possibility of entering o4 after killing o3 with some manufacturing object similar to a wine cellar, but the only condition of entering o4 is that you only enter alone, without No one else accompanying you, that would be fantastic.
Getting to and beating o3 already takes ages, I'd say something more similar to hard mode shatters where if you do a sequence of events you get O4 instead of 3

I like it tbh. That is what everyone said when o3 came out. Oryx is supposed to be this unbeatable ruler of the realms. His greatest adversary was the void, the thing that corrupted the great king azamoth. You Beat the once invisible ruler and now he's combined with the other greatest threat to the realm, it should be bonkers.
IN LORE AM ASSUMING After oryx the mad god for the 3rd time instead of respawning as he usually does he respawned somewhere else some where dark the void. The Void Entity seeing this as its only chance to get rid of his only threat at the time. It is unknown how oryx had be posed or overtaken when in the void but all we know is after Void Oryx/VO he went back to sanctuary revied his minions and his 4 mini bosses but with a twist a dark one familiar to all. VO now posing as oryx had full control of the realm and universe at his/it's hand but there was only 1 threat left one. Deva put it wouldn't take long to realizing that Deva wasn't as much as a threat as it looked Deva had abandon any hope of showing up again but Deva's influence was strong. Before Void Oryx before the (oryx went rouge /ROTMG) even started it was the influence of Deva that shaped the players from there ancestors into the hero's we know as today now enlightened with this idea he changed his mind and decide to go after us the only threat left to stand against him. Sorry lol for making this shit up and if you don't understand xd blame the game:( but am just speculating also I think the void in lore is the secret/true final boss of the game cause I see exaltations in order lore wish. Also, am just assuming again that when he said " Oryx was keen torturing you all for a reason" it might mean oryx wanted to (am just assuming again) oryx wanted to know about the nexus and how to get there and destroy it to reach Deva or something like that who knows. All I know is i just typed a life long essay sorry if I wasted your time
this is so neat!! i will say that i think there should be more silences/quiets :] also maybe some more aura phases where youre statused during the duration
I would love to see a mechanic like mbc and o3 towers added! Maybe something that can be either killed or stunned to be taken care of Or something that constantly shoots but can be stunned/dazed to take care of easier Could apply some debuff to the boss or give the players a buff
Bosses with additional minions or pieces that give classes a chance to shine is always cool to see! Since the idea isn't originally mine, I will still be following the original design closely, but I think the void minions are fairly close to MBC/O3 towers where you have to deal with them first to get better access to the boss.
I'm sorry if you've been asked this before, but have you considered making a game of your own? I think you have some amazing ideas, and it's a shame to not be able to try them out in-game.
pov, the ending is lord carosburg coming back 💀 ngl really cool idea and would love to see if this actually made it into the real game 😭 I kinda like how there are no sicken phases (thought that might be added if this idea is worked on a little more). I think there is a little too much, if not just too much of those in current realm end game. I like to see a change. also maybe a new stat pot at the end would be cool :glaperotmg:
This boss looks extremelly cool but PLEASE remove paralyze from it and make the arena smaller for some phases because the fight looks kinda easy for a endgame dungeon.
It's not shown in the video, but you get individually graded for how much damage you to do the boss throughout the fight and given tiers of loot accordingly (similar to MV). So leeching wouldn't be too difficult but you wouldn't be rewarded for other carrying you like what happens in O3.
@@mizumi- i'm mostly talking about leeching when solo because if you have enough speed you can outrun chase phases and make them totally useless, and the arena is way to big that you can safespot some phases using umi bow + taiko drums for extra range
Also keep in mind that this is just part 1. There's still half of the fight left after this, and it doesn't get any easier over time. It's also built to be somewhat leech-able, so that players can passively learn the dungeon, but can choose to make it harder to go in for damage. Also good news, I don't think there's any more paralyze shots for the rest of the fight. It's just for the blue arena phase.

It looks really cool but I think why this game is losing popularity is because these newer bosses are no longer fun but more like torture and not in a good way like dark souls. This game is just not meant for that. It feels like a cheap guitar hero now. I prefer the old pinata smashing game that was relaxing but also had risks. And if I want real challenge I pull up dark souls 3 where the challenge is beautiful. - I'm sure not even the realm rework will save it if the new content gets even crazier. I would like to see already existing content like shatters affordable to enjoy by average players first and not only no lifers. I hope im not too harsh.
Easier content is needed for casual players to stay engaged, but harder content is needed for veteran players to stay. The game will always need to get difficult for it to stay afloat, its just a matter of how fast this happens and whether players are supported enough to attempt the harder content in a feasible manner. It's always a difficult balance to maintain but I think realm rework has provided a lot of tools for casual players to attempt more difficult things.
@@mizumi- I agree with that but I think the focus should be on mid difficulty that everyone can enjoy. The best example is Cnidarian Reef its easily accesible not too long but still feels risky. On the other hand there is the Tavern wich has all those properties except that the style is not like rotmg but something like Undertale, so its not aesthetically pleasing, just like moonlight village. This game is about knights and wizards not some weird anime characters. Great example is Lotl it looks amazing and fits the game well. That was also done well with Marble Colossus and the whole Shatters too.

The loot system for the boss is different from others in that it will assess how much damage you were able to do depending on class and reward you for pushing in more. This is where most of the difficulty would come from, as most people won't be able to stay in the entire time like I showed in the video because they won't have godly regeneration or HP.
Ideas are there, but a large majority of this is just... no. This seems to just be Bullshit incarnate I've gotta be honest, and a complete "Fuck you" if you were to play melee class. Like I said, decent ideas, but I'd never want to see this implemented as-is in my honest opinion.
I'm sure everyone said the same about Oryx 3, Shatters, etc. when it first released because they had no strategy or experience for the difficult looking phases yet. Melees also have access to longer ranged swords (something which is expected at the endgame level), which would be identical in reach to the one I was using in the video meaning it's not as impossible to hit Oryx as you might think.

I think that would take away a lot from the MMO aspect that makes O3 so fun.

Awesome idea! Although as a colorblind person, I would find it quite hard to dodge some bullets that blend way too much into the background
