Judge Lynn asked him if he recalled those incidents in the early years of their marriage where HIS family members were less than welcoming to his wife and how he addressed those issues. He totally ignored the judge's question and did not answer, which means he did not address those issues at all; he did not stand-up for his wife, he let his family member continue to disrespect her and they are doing so even to this day, which is, as the wife said, why they are before Judge Toler now. He went on to say what his wife did, but as we know, she was provoked to do so by his family member's actions and his lack of action (as far as supporting his wife an getting his family member in line and letting them know they cannot disrespect his wife).
When we can't get along the best is to separate to find happiness elsewhere

It's so many dynamics and dysfunction in this relationship on both sides. But I know EXACTLY what happened. They both initially were in relationships when they met. She's kept a "friend" around and he's kept a "friend". They've BOTH never fully committed to each other because they still wanted ppl that didn't want them. And of course, from messing around she ends up pregnant and they compound the situation by getting married. Suspicions in a relationship is the worst. He mentally manipulates her and she mentally manipulates him. She plays what he does/doesn't do against him and he plays how she acts/reacts against her. Nothing but mind games. I could go deeper especially with the family thing but I'll leave it at this.
