    Hi, This channel is really helpful.. I have a question.. I'm using Update Ring to updates my devices, how do I generate this kind of report..?

    • @IntuneVitaDoctrina

      Thanks a lot, good question, if you got a "Feature Update Profile" and you create one/ring, then use that in the Report to select in the drop down, then you get a report per ring, hope that helps

    Should this report work if we are co-managed and updates are still pushed from Config Manager?

    • @IntuneVitaDoctrina

      Very good question, and difficult one for me, since I don't have own experience in co-managed and tenant attached. (I have 15 years of experience with Configuration Manager and 5 years of Intune but not working together :) )
      I searched, to me it SHOULD work if you in Configuration Manager/SCCM have switched it over in Workloads/Windows Update Policies to either Intune Pilot or Intune. To me that also sounds much possible, but haven't seen it with my own eyes.

    under scope, windows update option seems missing. Any idea why azuer remove it?

      Hi, did you do the prerequisites I mentioned in the video? starts around 5:00, you need to have a profile for Windows Health Monitoring and stuff?

      @@IntuneVitaDoctrina Yes. I did but i only see one option endpoint analytics. Can verify windows update option is still available now on your setup?

      Verfied and I have same as you, I see only EndPoint Analystics,
      However, it says I got Windows Update also but there is no checkbox, could it be that it is ALWAYS enabled now and not needed to manually check?
      On vacation, so no good position to check this, but this could be interesting to investigate, nice find, thanks!

    Just asking myself the question, do clients need to be Windows activated? I am running some Windows 11 clients using Hyper-v for my demo tenant. Everything is set correctly but the update isn't reaching the client.

    • @IntuneVitaDoctrina

      Good questions, I know Microsoft still allow security updates because they don't want even none licensed Windows to get virus, but Feature Updates, maybe not.
      If you run the report as in this video, what status does you get on the client?

    • @patrick__007

      What should I look specifically at? As I open the Update blade from the client the Feature update is not coming through. @@IntuneVitaDoctrina

      Under Reports and Feature Updates you don't get any updates? have you done the prerequisites as mentioned in the video?

      @@IntuneVitaDoctrina "Update state" is still "Offering". But I see under "Update Aggregated State" -> Offer ready..

    • @IntuneVitaDoctrina

      That means server is ready to offer it, I think for bigger feature updates you need to have activated windows, but for smaller quality updates you can run unlicensed.

    How about if you are looking to find out how many endpoints have the latest security patches ? Not looking for feature updates

    • @IntuneVitaDoctrina

      Good question, then check the Quality Updates report instead

      true, if you push Quality updates with Intune you can before Report in the Summary tab refresh and get stats.
