- Happy 15th anniversary to TVXQ's Balloons MV! And also, happy 15th anniversary to me! Yes, that's right, it's my Cassieversary! Well, probably... I actually don't know the exact date I discovered TVXQ but I know it's around the release date of the Balloons MV. That's why I've always considered the 13th November my Cassieversary hehe (yes, I know I'm 2 days late, as always)
I can't believe that it already has been 15 years. I was 6 when I discovered TVXQ and now I'm 21. That's insanity! TVXQ have been by my side through every major life event of mine, through every up and down, through all the good and bad. I'm truly grateful for all the wonderful memories, for the fun interactions and most importantly for all the great friends I've met thanks to TVXQ and JYJ. Cassiopeia has become my second home and I wouldn't change that for anything. I know, it's not always easy. We fight and we argue and we have our differences but at the end of the day we're all united under the same sky, supporting the people that touched our hearts and changed our lives.
With this special video, I want to celebrate my 15 years with TVXQ, JYJ and Cassiopeia but also the 15th anniversary of the Balloons MV. Balloons will forever hold a special place in my heart as it was my first encounter with TVXQ. And to this day, the song and MV are still one of my favourites. Back then I would have never guessed that these five men in animal costumes would change my life so much. But here we are, 15 years later, still going strong :)
I don't know exactly why I decided to make a baking video specifically because I'm not exactly the greatest cook/baker. I guess I was really inspired by my dear friend Emelie who baked the most gorgeous wedding cake for Changmin's wedding day. But in contrast to her (a real baking queen) I'm an absolute mess in the kitchen. But somehow these cookies turned out fine. I guess the Gods of the East were really with me on this journey lol. It took me 3 whole days though. Was it worth it? I don't know. But I guess it was a fun experience and I'm excited to share this with you guys. I did add some instructions throughout the video but honestly, don't listen to me. I didn't know what I was doing and I still don't know anything lol This whole video was a crazy idea I once came up with in a conversation with a fellow Cassie friend (hello Emiko, if you're reading this) and somehow HAD to go through with it despite having zero skills. So please excuse my poor baking skills. Also, sorry for the change in lighting. As I mentioned, I filmed this throughout 3 full days. It was wild.
Anyway, I've rambled enough. I just hope you'll enjoy the video and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my Cassie life!

And yes, I totally feel you. I also always get excited when I meet Cassies who are around the same age as me. Honestly, there are more of us nowadays but back when I was still a child/pre-teen there seemed to only be adult Cassies and I felt so lonely >.<

I would never thought this was made from cut outs and that skewers were used to apply the icings. They looked so clean and done well!

I'm honestly really thankful that I met them so early in life. They've given me a lot of hope and inspiration growing up. And thanks Haeya, for being part of my fangirl journey. It wouldn't be half as fun without wonderful fellow fans and friends like you :)

Oh dear, maybe you should give it a try nonetheless. I'm honestly a horrible cook and baker myself but if you do everything at your own pace and follow the recipe, even if it doesn't turn out perfect, it would still be fine. And it's honestly a fun (though a bit tiring) experience.

It's good to see Cassies around the world cheering up for each other. Here in Portugal I don't see many Cassies, and the few that I know are all around my age (26 years old). Sometimes I feel old...

You're right. It's always heart-warming to see Cassies all around the world come together to support the boys and each other. Honestly, I think there are more Cassies than we expect. I think many just left social media or aren't that active in the fandom anymore. Obviously our fandom isn't as big and loud as it used to be but there are still a good amount of us :)
And you're not old at all >.< There are also quite a few of us who are in their 20s (like me).
So talented omg the process of making take hours but eating it just take a minute damn if it were me ill just give up at cutting dough part lol 😂😂
