That's why Rodtang was letting him hit him, he's saying " No power, no good." Khalilovs fighting for points, there's no hip on his kicks and he's too light on his feet, not transferring his weight. Rodtang is straight Muy Mat, walking down domination.
His opponent physically looks like he has no power. If he tried that with elite boxers at his weight class he's going sleepy sleepy.
Neither of them punch particularly hard. They're both little guys. Yeah, Rodtang can take a punch, but Kalilov wasn't beat up either.
A good punch has very little to do with “arm strength” my friend.

The thing about rodtang is he doesn’t back away when fighting. He stays on his target and doesn’t step back in the process he takes major blows to the face but eats the punches… for someone to beat rodtang they would need to be on his level of not backing away and able to withstand punches while aggressively pushing forward. He also plays mind games with his opponents he lets them get free punches so he can psychologically make them feel like they are already defeated but doing so he risk major brain damage

Wish we had more fighters like these two in MMA. The endurance shown here is just extraordinary. In an MMA fight, all you need is just one strike and then the fighter goes down and gets pummeled by those ugly looking so called ground and pound striking. There are very rare fights where you see extraordinary levels of endurance.
I'm not a Muay Thai fan, but it's too hard to hate Rodtang. He is a beast with a great heart.
