AND YES, I LOVE DALE HANSON 😂😂 But seriously, I am still tuning in till this day!! SENDING AN ABUNDANCE OF LOVE AND APPRECIATON TO MY FAVORITE AND ONLY TRUSTED NEWS SOURCE.....W F A A 🥂 TO 75 YEARS AND MANY MORE...
I worked for Belo back in the early 80's. I was a traffic reporter for 570AM. I got to watch the classic Tracy, Iola, Verne, Troy set live. I was stunned when everyone walked off set after the intro.
Happy Birthday, WFAA!! This was a wonderful production. I've been trying to remember, though -- what was the show that came on at 6:30 p.m. beginning in the late-1970s. It lasted about 15 years.
75 years. Hard to believe it's been that long. By the way, what happened to "The Spirit of Texas"? Iola Johnson and 3 people from my childhood, Tracy Rowlett, Gloria Campos, and John McCaa! And then you had Dale Hansen. Loved seeing Troy again and let's not forget Chip Moody.
Tracy Rowlett age? He looked pink skin and white hair. Is he okay or health issue? WOW IOLA JOHNSON, still look so way sexy woman. I watched channel 8 in 1970 and her hairstyle was so superb. Wondered if she Met Oprah?

Remember on Harris as 5pm news anchor, but didn't know he cohosted the morning show. RIP for his Jonestown reporting. Great video.

I heard only bad things about Tracy Rowlett. As a fan of WFAA, this made me change the channel EVERY time. Horrible human.
these ae anchor people. What about Weather group, sport groups, and reporters, etc?
and who else history who still alive or deceased?
