She´s already proven herself (time and time again) to being one of the greatest female voices of all time and that can´t be destroyed even if some of her vocals are pre-recorded. No, all lipped from minute 1:38 to minute 3:31 ( the whistles were live). Most of Hero was live except 7:13 to 7:24, then lipped again 7:32 to 7:38. The Hero lipped parts are well hidden, almost unnoticeable to the regular fan.

As much as I would love to be wrong, she doesn't seem to have any interest removing her nodules, adjusting her lifestyle and really training her voice with a coach and taking singing lessons. Probably her ego and since she can rely on partial lipsync so much for the hardest parts, not sure she has any incentives to do so.
She’s had vocal damage for years. Her nodules are the reason she can hit the high notes to begin with. They could be removed but it’s a risky surgery and she would lose the upper register. Her technique has been to sing through the damage which isn’t healthy IMO. So, you hear a lot of high notes live and other stuff pre-recorded or singing over a backing track. Or a new technique of weaving in and out of live to track to live again. She’s never spoken about it publicly and I wish she would have before she came to this phase in her life. I love Mariah, but it’s the truth. The industry has been hard on her, like many others.
It's so weird to hear her lip WBT from the second verse instead of just the climax. But hey, her voice is actually improving, little by little but the improvement is pretty noticeable when comparing to the first shows of the tour
