    Me too ...crying through the whole book...especially at mention of sul lang tang...i cannot process my grief of losing my wife last year... she also lived in h mart and work accross the street at sul lang tang jib...

    This book was so beautiful. Thank you for writing such a wonderfully relatable memoir. I too grew up Asian and lost my mother.

    I just finished this book and all I want is to care for and protect my mom 💜💜 it was unlike anything I’ve personally read. Very grateful for it.

      It's not crying the whooole time. It's a good and entertaining read.
