Oh my god, when I was really young I had a crush on Buzzy because of his style and voice. It really took me around a decade to realize he's not the most PC depiction of a black person. I'm glad he's the fun all-loving hero though, this is definitely one of the better examples.

Yeah,I really love Katnip’s dynamic with Buzzy worked better than the usual Herman and Katnip formula(which is a T&J knockoff)and the usual formula worked with a more comfortable setting,the violence being less creepy, and more unique creative ideas with Buzzy being more wiser and funnier than Herman and Katnip always having to being the fall guy due to a reason to eat Buzzy as a way to cure a problem he’s facing. Also,Herman worked better as a friend/sidekick to a henpecked rooster named Henry before he was paired with Katnip. I think these two should’ve gotten more love if Famous did more cartoons with Herman and Katnip in their own separate ways with their co-stars(Henry,Buzzy) Since both of the usual formulas/plots worked better instead of being paired together in Mice Meeting You and being T&J knockoffs.
@@McCraeTheMediaLover I don't really wanna say it was a knockoff to Tom and Jerry, since Warner Bros. has used that cat and mouse forumla alot. Even MGM did made a few cat and mouse cartoons that wasn't Tom and Jerry.

I have a friend who calls me boss at my local gas station in otterbien Indiana and i feel like katnip the cat and the guy calling me boss is buzzy the crow
@@RobotGooseStudios sure he speaks with a Southern accent, but that does nott automatically make him racist. It's not like he's following any Southern stereotypes, he just has a Southern accent.and he's not like the crows from Dumbo where they're just asking to be called racist, he's really tame compared to them.
