  • The new 2019 Mercedes-Benz E350 gets a brand new mild hybrid engine (299 hp/400 Nm plus EQ Boost), a more advanced adaptive suspension and semi-autonomous driving features. Find out why Hafriz Shah thinks that at under RM400k, it's a Mercedes bargain here.

    i test drive this car....the cornering still not as sharp as bmw 5 series in high speed...the bmw still has the edge in term of overall better engineering when cames to bodyroll in highspeed .....

    I will say this car is the best buy
    Whole time i side with the S90 T8 cause of the spec
    But the fact that this has everything except HUD and illuminated door (classy) sill makes it worth. Plus its a non hybrid which avoids the paranoia and resale headache

    Saya baru dapat E350e saya hari ni .
    Pandu dari Wangsamaju ke Kuchai Lama .. My comment , compare dengan previous car saya BMW 520i , sumpahhhh !!! BMW much moreeeee better ,
    cuma e350e screen board nampak mewah.
    Kereta ni saya rasa ringan masa pandu . Ini cuma pandangan saya sebagai pengguna .. ✌️

    Wow I’m really shocked about Malaysia’s Mercedes car prices. Incredibly ridiculous even for a CKD model!? 400 Grand for a Mercedes E class.
    In Canada, we’re already screaming expensive for 70K car price for mid luxury sedan. You guys car prices are deadly shocking.

    Trust me, the 19” is the best setup. The 20” is just too firm since there’s less rubber to absorb impact.

    My boss have the E350E hybrid. The engine check light keeps popping up. The local Hap Seng dealer could rectify the issue. Sometimes the car is left 1 month at the dealer while he drives around in their A class courtesy car.

    To the people who think that this car's battery costs 130k cause it says mild HYBRID, plss do more study
    Mild Hybrid is like ur normal car battery its just that this gives some boost and requires no plug in whatsoever. So, its a normal car.
    Also: i think you can request dealer to exchange the piano black the to open pore black wood in the E200

    • @brandonczw
      @brandonczw 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      this is not exactly a hybrid, it's a 48 volt electrical system, whereas conventional cars only use 12 volt systems

    • @chooyieong177
      @chooyieong177 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not exactly hybrid but it is somehow hybrid (not like normal car battery system) due to the Electric Motor/Generator Unit as well as regenerative braking that generate electricity and store in the 48V battery. Definitely not plug in hybrid. Definitely not Toyota Prius type hybrid where electric motor alone can propel the car. So people call it a mild hybrid which is true. Still a hybrid (mild) where more parts and component and system is packed into the complete car. More components, more computer system and more things that are prone to breakdown for long term ownership.This E350 looks like a Malaysia only spec (not quite understand why). The word Hybrid really scare people of nowadays. Just leave it as ECO Boost might not throw people who is at the edge off the cliff. The word "Hybrid" now is more of a negative impression rather than positive.

    Poor braking system, rear tyre/whole rear body shakes when braking from high speeds. Hence, must be handled by pro driver on highway to avoid critical chances of collision. Car will start "Fish tailing" after reached certain speeds on highways, 140km/h+. It emphasises comfort on front-seat passengers but not rear-seat passengers. So, travellers at the rear will experience bumpy/uncomfortable rides on high speed *highway*, therefore resulting in an unpleasant experience. I've driven the new 2018 E300 AMG sedan (Similar suspension, chassis, shocks, dampers, transmission to E350) from KL to Penang and Penang to Singapore and these are my remarks on the car.. Moreover, Runflat tyres must be driven on smooth roads and avoid road with rough surfaces. So not suitable for kilang boss, should get S450L or E350e with air suspension to minimise the struggle. Overall, this is kosong-tin but good for image.
    - Lack of high-speed stability
    - Minimal comfort emphasised on rear-seats
    - Shakes heavily when sudden breaks apply from high speeds
    If there's an option to upgrade into air suspension, recommended to do so..

    • @peterambrose2148
      @peterambrose2148 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      actually, if you have an average salary, you can buy this used 3 or 4 years old easily at 20k. ive been in a ride of those, well i went slowly because i was within the city. in the highway around 100 kms speed it does 6.5 to7 liter per 100 kms and around 9 to 10 liter per 100 kms in the city. it produces around 300 bhp and its much much much cheaper than most cars with the same power. save money and buy it used. to give you an idea, a used 2014 jaguar xf s produces 275 bhp and at around 17k pounds you can buy it with 50k to 70k kms. this e350 has more power yet you can buy it at a cheaper price before even 2 years of purchase. make sure you buy a used car from car dealers who represent mercedes. all car comapnies have car sales representative companies who sell used mercedes, which are serviced and taken care off

      Agility Control - "Selective" passive dampers. Basically non-adjustable steel spring setup, straddles between soft and hard, offers decent comfort and handling.
      Dynamic Body Control - Steel spring setup with adaptive dampers. Adjustable between Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes.
      Air Body Control - Full air suspension, no springs. Adjustable between Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes, but with a wider window of adjustments, plus self-levelling function. Also automatically lowers the ride height at speeds for better stability and fuel economy, plus a button to increase the ride height to navigate rough roads/obstacles.
