After watching intently tonight when my team is (finally) in the playoffs, I can confirm that theory. Once the Canucks take the lead they are suddenly not allowed to throw a hit, and are fair game to be hooked and shoved into the net as a goalie. Absolutely pathetic attempt to hide the American bias

Turning into quite the series!
It’s lasted longer than the jets series which surprised me
@@Cheyennemae.A I completely agree. Jets got destroyed badly.
Молодцы "Хищники", важность этой победы, трудно переоценить... Проявили характер, хладнокровие, и смогли вырвать победу. Теперь надо так же уверенно сыграть дома, и тогда уже все будет решаться в седьмом матче...
Peterson needs to go to Timmie’s power skating school! 8 years of this???
It seems Petey went cold after signing his big contract.
Hey leave Petey alone. He wants to be great, it's just everyone is body checking him and getting in his way. If it was no touch hockey he would be a phenom. 😂
@@martinleegad5868 Petey needs to play through the body checking and pain. He is in the NHL where body checking is allowed. Petey needs to toughen up or retire.
@@CorryGalI was being sarcastic. I do not like Petersson at all. I think he is a fraud, he doesn't belong in the NHL, let alone the NHL playoffs. He has no heart in the game or the team. What is going to end up happening is Vancouver is going to have to payout his contract to get rid of him, cause no other NHL team would take him for that amount and they see right through him.
@@martinleegad5868 It seems that Petey will be another flop like Louie Ericksson.
Preds goes really strong💪🔥🇫🇮
Damn it, a close loss for the Canucks!
I absolutely loved that goal by Zadorov!
What is the situation with Casey DeSmith? Is the injury day to day or is he out for the playoffs?
He was the backup goaltender for game 5. They may opt to just play Silovs as the hot hand considering DeSmith is likely not fully 100%. But you never know! I'm sure DeSmith would love to get back in the net as well.
@@joelface I don't think Silovs is that good - a lot of the saves he made in game 5 were pretty easy ones. If DeSmith is not 100%, I can see the rationale behind playing Silovs.
How is that goal? Goalie was pushed to the net

Asbsolutely insane game. Insanely good goaltending, defence, offence. Really sad that Canucks lost, especially with that goaltender interference goal.
another embarrassing night for the NHLs reputation due to piss poor officiating
you can go watch Olympics and World Cup without NHL players
Don't watch I'd your gonna be a whiner who can't handle a loss
@@Nickh4929 ??? idc who wins dawg im here to audit the refs. the NHL has the worst officiating of any professional sports league in the world. this is literally what i do. im sorry facts hurt your feelings
Hot take: Saros is the best goalie in the league based on skill
Agreed
If Nashville didn't absolutely collapse last game, they would be going home up 3-2.
Agreed
If the refs weren’t helping them out so much it’d be 4-1
Once again final score:Canucks 1, predators1, referee 1. Apparently only Vancouver Canucks commit penalties in the third period. I had hoped the clown show officiating might be a bit better in the post season. Apparently not.
Bettman will never let a Canadian team have a chance to win the Cup
🙄😪
Sports officiating needs to be done by an organization independent of the league. It should also be regulated by something like the SEC. People actually gamble on the outcome of games and if the officiating was deliberately one sided that is fraud.
Cry me a river. Blaming the officiating is so lame. You need to grow a pair and put on your big boy pants.
Don't whine and blame refs. It shows ur 13 years old
It seems that Pettersson has forgotten how to hockey.
К первому голу хищников есть большие вопросы..
After given up the lead in 2 big games there lucky they won that 1st goal was a gift 2nd goal they actually earned
As a Canucks fan, I’ve suspected the league is against Canadian teams winning for a while now. 31 years since the last Canadian stanley cup when one should win every 4 or 5 years on average, seems suspicious.
Ref excuse are always low ball IQ loserville = you
Absolute fact, been absolutely ridiculous since the 90's , it was so obvious years ago, doesn't need to be as obvious now that Canadian teams are at a massive handicap financially.
The officials are absolutely horrwndous both ways in every game usually. I wouldnt be surprised if they got advice from the main office. Financially Canada is crap though. Cause good players prefer the US for tax purposes and living conditions, or weather rather
@@ouromov2895 And that’s exactly why greedy Gary prefers American teams to win too
The hooking and slashing penalties are getting ridiculous not just in this series but all year it's become subjective.
I don't want to complain to much because have you seen the NBA or NFL no one can even be touched but we don't hockey to become anything like that not even close to that.. NEVER
Chanting Saros with a 1 goal lead was karma coming back to bite the cocky Canucks fans. They are the most cocky fan base and haven’t won anythjng yet.
They will never win probably 😂
The predator fans did the same thing. Actually I think almost all fans do this! Fans like to chant during the playoffs. Don't need to overthink it.
@@joelface No ones overthinking anything, I specifically called out Canuck fans because they all think the team is going to coast to the finals. This chanting of Soros with a 1 goal lead is an example that they need to bring that confidence down a bit.
This is the lowest shot volume series in years

Šilovs labākais!🇱🇻💯🔥
A goal kicked in last game and goalie interference goal this game both allowed. What a joke. I get playoff hockey and putting the whistles away for alot of penalties, but that was ridiculous
If you look at the replay of Boeser's tying goal in G4, he smashed Saros' stick away as he swatted the puck into the net. With your logic, that would be goaltender interference. Both the goals you're complaining about were good hockey goals.
Goalie interference on first goal. Preds still the better team but Silovs gets run by the player on the break and goes down then the puck ends up behind him and then preds player shoves everyone into the goal mouth causing the puck to go in. Not sure why they didn’t challenge tbh
This may be the best series so far. Both teams are so solid. Wished it would have been the West final. But 6 or maybe 7.
Playoff hockey still alive in Music City

Nashville should be on the brink of the next round, if not there already. overall, they have outplayed the Canucks by a nice margin this series.
I disagree. They only outplayed Vancouver in game 4, but Canucks kept it close and had the high end talent to come back when they got the chance late... I really think the series deserves to be 3-2 Canucks if not 4-1.
