Timing the Trout Plants at Castaic Lake

This was two days after I fished with Ed Bassmaster and Casey lavere and the only thing that really changed was the addition of a trout plant. Also I go into some details of proper trolling in open water fishing the edge of mudlines (or secondary shorelines)

yes, but more bass fishing with the smaller swimbaits 6" BBZ-1 for post spawn and summer fish. I target more wall, flats and humps now

Thanks Jacob, I have many videos with swimbaits that are all different sizes. So it just comes down to what you you would like to use. Most of the videos talk about size and equipment. If you need any other info just ask and good look.

do they always dump the trout on the west and after the plant do the trout just stay that close to the dump off or do they travel the lake in a school? i bank fish at castaic. ive been hitting the upper more often lately and i rarely see any bank guys get a striper. i usually just get largemouths or sunnies.

They dump the fish early in the morning in the weekdays and not weekends

I know anglers don't give up their SPOTS but any 'areas' on Castaic that I'd have a better chance?(Other than the obvious coves,peaks,points,dropoffs. Like specific areas?) :^) GREAT vidz by the way!!!!!!!!!
