I've had the shrinking issue with gimp, rat tail, any woven trim as well as interfacing. I now pre-wash them all, just as I pre-wash all my fabric before cutting.
Do you have any techniques for cutting the pattern with seam allowance evenly? Are there any tools that can help? I rely on my eyes but I sometimes go either less or more than the allowance I want! 😮😢 Thanks for your videos! ❤❤
These are some really great tips.
Thank you, I love the tip for bias tape makers. I really needed it.
Thank you. My 2 favourites are the skinny strap method and the threading bias tape thru maker. I always struggle with that! Not any more! 😊
I love your videos!
loved these!!
Thank you, as allways 😊
Genius!

I had an incident where the twill tape shrunk really bad after it’s already been installed on a garment🫣 Started steaming those, too!😅
Londa Rohlfing on her channel, talks about pre-shrinking interfacing by soaking in hot water and then hanging to dry. I haven't tried it out yet.
Thank you, from which side do you steam the interfacing?
Great question - glue side facing UP! Otherwise it will stick to ironing board🤗

Amazing tips as ever. Thanks so much.
I want to stay but you still use music to disrupt the speaking, so bye :(
