The only reason they’re not starving

Who will die tomorrow?

Watching as the wells

There are no shelters
Nowhere you can hide
Life is nothing like it is
On the other side
There’s nowhere to escape
From the killing and the stress
The pilots bomb the hospitals,
Where people convalesce
Yet still some people wonder
They insist on asking why
Anyone could give
Such a ghastly reply
They wonder how anyone could
Respond to it all
By killing people
Just over the wall

I’m writing this comment after al-Ahli Arab Hospital mass-casualty explosion in Gaza. Ben’s words, unfortunately, turned out to be prophetic.

I did make a few changes to David's wonderful lyrics. As to the hospital line, it is also true that Israel has targetted hospitals many times before when they have carried out massacres in Gaza.
