Just got the game a couple days ago and wanted to try out rogue but im struggling hard lol
@@Bzk-- reason being that when you carry both weapons in your main slot, you get less movement speed

That throwing knife kill was tight! Jus' started yesterday and made a rogue and archer. Only been doing the Goblin Caves and have only escaped 3/ about 300 matches. Been rough but starting to get the hang of the npc attacks and map design. I think I have 1 pvp kill so far. Bad is clearly an understatement when it comes to my performance thus far. Sticking with it, though! I love the concept of the game and am having a blast playing. Awesome video, been referencing it a bunch while learning. You made this look so easy

edit: having a lot of success now, you just have to learn the game. (also using anything besides the starter daggers helps a lot)

I’d say at Lvl 1 always take the quality of life perks, like double jump, smash. Things that make your character better at being that archetype. And I’m glad I’m watching EA CONTENT!

I actually really like the idea of showing the growing pains of rogue to new players, especially since he is so perk based. It will be a learning experience for me too as I never really got to end game gear

@@Narbiraleyes but some more than others. IMO cleric doesn’t need as many perks to be viable because of buffs and utility

Full disclosure I could very much be wrong, but I really haven’t noticed much difference from beta to EA and I’m not aware of any balancing that took place

very nice game play bro. unrelated question but, do you think barbarian is viable to play solo, or is it more of a party class?
I've been playing barb almost exclusively solo for the last two playtest. It's a really strong solo class. If you know how to kite and dodge, it becomes a pain in the ass for any other class to deal with. The main thing is that you have a horseman's axe to fight in pvp, and a two handed for pve. If you're leveling up, start with crush as your firs perk, savage as your second, axe spec as the third, and the 4th perk is up to you. You should also buy the elf race, the barb has high strength but low agility so every point of it helps you to move a bit faster. Practice in Goblin Caves and move to the crypt once your confident.
Like rogue, you need to choose your fights carefully, trying to take a geared fighter head on will end with you on low hp and getting 3rd partied, or you'll burn through your meds. Try to chip enemies down with Francesca axes since they get bonus damage from axe spec.
For abilities, I always run Achilles Strike since it's just a better rupture. The second ability should be savage roar, it debuffs players and fears mobs with both of them dealing 25% less damage.
Overall, I think barb is a really strong class. Master it and you'll be unstoppable. Good luck out there.

they nerfed rare and uncommon loot to be more rare and uncommon
its tougher, but i feel it will prove to be better in the long term
loot feels okay kinda nice that its more rare now i dislike the stack size on pots and bandages tho
I've seen more blues than green drops so far by about 1.5x-2x
