I had pretty much the same reaction as you during my 1st time watching this MV. I was so happily surprised that the female lead was a person of color. It's also when I got a sense of how much Hyunsik loves outer space and is interested in the concept of quantum entanglement. I just read a simple definition of the theory and I can see it clearly in the video. Hyunsik created the dynamics of the song and the video to work together so well that you can't help but get completely caught up in both. Thank you for reacting to this MV. Just like in the "La Mar" MV and song, you can see Hyunsik's dedication to making real musical and visual art. I'm looking forward to your "Outro: Encore" reaction. If it gets blocked here, I'll watch it on your Patreon. A little context: Hyunsik wrote this as the last song of their 3rd full album (2022), which came out after he and Sungjae were discharged. Than whole album is a thank you to Melodies for waiting for them for 4 years, through the post-7 year period that a lot of groups don't survive and through the huge turmoil and pain of Ilhoon's indictment, trials and departure. When you watch the "Wind and Wish" MV, (2023) they start out all beaten up, but eventually make it through because they have each other and their memories. Many Melodies immediately heard the song as a hug and best wishes to Ilhoon. They've been through a lot, but they're stronger for it. 💙
