This video helped me so much with my online statistics class, you don't know how happy I am to finally understand how to get the percentile! Thank you!
@A._Alsagheer I use a monoprice graphics tablet to write on. Here is a link to it amzn.to/30OYsML I write in a free software called SmoothDraw4. I use the following microphone: amzn.to/31SaCpA
thanks alot miss but i have question what is the next steo after knowing percentile ? or whats it tells other than % of data falls under that percentile,i mean why we interested in percentile value ?
There are different reasons for knowing percentile. One reason might be in a situation like a standardized test or a growth chart for a child. Knowing the percentile of a score can help see where you were in relationship to other people. Pediatricians use percentiles all the time to make sure a child is consistently growing at every check-up. This particular example was to help students in my class get through a specific homework question, so I didn't elaborate on the purpose. Also, later in a Statistics course, you will use percentage under a certain value to determine if values are unusual.

I have a lot of Stats videos, so make sure to check them out. My website is free for anyone to use: mathandstatshelp.com/statistics/
Thank you so much! I have a quiz today and the teacher didn’t talk about this at all but said it would be on it! Lifesaver and easy to understand!
I have no words for my appreciation of this video

Best explanation of Empirical Rule, thank you!
MUCH LOVE
How would you find the percentage of a value that doesn't fall on one of the standard deviation points? Such as $177,645
You can do it this way: th-cam.com/video/LawGu8Ovvus/w-d-xo.html
I also have it with both the TI-84 or TI-Nspire graphing calculator, if you have one of those.
Thanks.
You're welcome

Thanks for the vid it's understandable (the information)
How you find the upper limit for the lowest 99.85%
You wouldn't use the empirical rule for that. Are you looking for the z-score?
easy for me now
Love the video. Did want to scratch my ears out after the millionth okay. But other then that all good
I've been trying to work on that... Didn't realize how often I said it until I started making videos. 😂
Did you use IPad with apple pen?
No, I have a Monoprice graphics tablet on a PC. I use smooth draw to write in.
I kind of get it...but maybe I'm just retarded to using the Empirical Rule to find percentiles! :-(
