Thank you so much for always uploading TLs of Mio's tarot reading streams! 🙏 I'm so glad Mio's readings are able to reach the kaigai-niki who don't understand Japanese as a result, they're some of Mio's most fun content and it's so easy to tell why with how beloved she is by the holomems. Roboco's reading was easily my favorite from this stream. Roboco's training arc leading up to the tourney was a bit of a rollercoaster, but her and the rest of ラッシュパトラッシュ went on to secure the win, she was so grateful to Mio and her reading after the fact. It was a really really great tourney and I couldn't be happier for both teams. Getting to see Mio draw and explain the tarot cards with her new live-cam really brings the whole experience to the next level. So happy Mio's much more comfortable with it now~!

Hearing Roboco crying was painful. She is ridiculously underrated and observant people can see she's doing a lot to change that, from releasing songs to doing more collabs,and yet she's always on the "underdogs" teams of Hololive. If Sora deserves adoration for being the foundation stone of the company, Roboco deserves similar praise, being the #2 scouted, willingly jumping into uncharted seas without no guarantee of anything. One pon and shy robot that suddenly felt the pressure of tournaments on her shoulders, having to break her own carefree personality. I'm glad she won with Shion leadership at the Valorant event. Frankly, she deserves it, she was the MVP. Let's show some affection to the gen 0 robot. She have one translation bot on her chat and give thumbs up for comments on her videos. Yes, even the English speaking ones. All on all, a cinnamon roll.

@@sansnom5269 It's not a bot I can assure you. She/he and one other was made into a mod on one of Roboco's anniversary streams iirc. There are times when translation gets weird, but 95% of the time it's coherent.

The irony was that Mio joined Hololive mainly due to Fubuki's absence in accompanying her back then (first unknowing that Fubuki works there, then later helping her with the interactions and sorts), who'd knew it'd be a blessing to everyone - from Holomems to us fans and viewers.
I like how Mio tarot reading steam always help the Hololive girls like a small therapy session.
As a big Robosa hearing our high spec wifi cry like that hit me hard. Shes always been so carefree her getting hit with so much pressure made my heart twitch a bit. It was so out of the left field for her so it was such a surprise. But seeing it get somewhat resolved immediately the next day and her team winning made that moment even sweeter

yeah taking a leadership role in anything like shotcalling in games or leading a teamat work for the first time, is really mentally draining and you will have a lot of pressure on yourself, not everyone can take that role and some can do that only partially
speaking of exp. like being the shotcaller as a jungler in LoL in a competitive team in the early days, but by experience I got more comfortable and we even won a tournament and received an exclusive skin
another example would be that I had to take the main role as the Game Designer, when the previous one left the team to fully commit on his own project, it was really tough since I am more like a supporter, due to the hard stress in the past, I still have imsonia, so I cant sleep for long hours anymore and I wake up in the night very often

Each one of personal reading are just so interesting and important, but I can see Mio's particular reading on Sora at 17:07 onward actually as important as the fate and future of Hololive itself.
Hololive is basically Sora' s dream come true, that every member's dream flock and merge into it to create a giant big fluff of dreams.
If Sora can sort her feelings and give new form of 'what she wants to do next', those are exactly the direction of the rest of her kouhais, and the company will go to.
I hope and am sure that Sora will keep finding a new way, an exciting path, and her kouhais will walk together with her to just fulfill more dreams.
Noel saying the fortune-telling stream is more like a psychiatric sessions is kind of what appeals to me about them. Big God Mion's superpower is her strong empathy and her ability to give people the advice they need. The tarot readings facilitate members airing out some of their stresses and worries to someone who can give helpful counsel about what to do in the future. I love these streams, and they just make me respect and adore Mio even more every time they happen!
Honestly looking at these girls crying it reminds me of when Mio cried thinking herself as a bland miso soup. And how she has honestly become such a soothing and reliable person in their circle, which is basically just what a good miso soup does in a meal, reliably good and never fails to be ‘just average’.
And in Roboco’s case, her right now is just how Mio felt at the point before, feeling pressured by expectations to be something she doesn’t want to and isn’t suited to be, feels almost like a mirror to Mio’s case.

I don't know if Robocosan doesnt _want to,_ it gives me the feeling that she, on the contrary really wants to, but wants to do it flawlessly, feeling thats what is expected of her, and that's what is causing her so much distress. Let's not forget in the past she played fortnite at a really high level, and the concept of "High Spec'd robot". Actually, something similar happened to Aqua on that one Mario kart tourney, when she broke down after _only_ achieving 2nd place.

But as Mio said, by doing so Roboco is sacrificing her 'laid-back, my-own-pace' feel that she had at the beginning of her channel, which I do find to be true for the past few months of very loosely following her streams.

Robocosan was the child with the heaviest burden; you can tell by the way she was trying to hide her tears. Playing in the tournament and having so much responsibility thrust upon her all at once has caused her to temporarily lose her self, in a way. However, she's best when she does things at that Robocosan pace we all know and love!
It's no exaggeration to say that Mio Mama is invaluable to Hololive and all who meet her!
If I remember, Roboco's team won the tournament she said she had pressure of, hopefully the W relieves some of her tension and uneasiness.

Miosha is truly a sinful wolf, in less than an hour she made 3 girls cry and 2 of them are her senior of the 0th gen. She really knows what words to say (I'm still baffled that Subaru think she can win an argument against someone this eloquent) and reading the others hurdle (After the tournament, Roboco tell how scary Miosha's ability to read through her). Thank you so much for translating Mio's tarot reading! I really enjoy watching every talents from time to time whenever I get the chance to, however, I can only grasp bits from it whenever I hear a familiar word. It feels nice to have them talk about their worries and hand them advice for it through this, after all, we're only seeing the surface level of things these girls go through unless they're comfortable enough sharing it with their listeners. My heart aches hearing few of them shed tears and I'm pretty sure others are just holding it together as well. The OG ones that power through tough times together and manage to make it today to witness the fruit of their hardwork, it must be really resilient of them to keep up with the fast-pace culture this work has come to. Still I believe Mio was able to give Roboco valuable support as Roboco won the Valorant tournament she mentioned as MVP.
As a viewer we often forgot that behind their L2D, behind their persona, is a person who feel hurt, sadness, despair, grief just like any other person. Of course they don't show it all, streaming is their job nd they have to be professional after all, but as a viewer we just need to remember to be kind to these people who made our day just a little bit happier seeing them because they may have their own issues without us knowing just like any other stranger we see in this world.
Guys, let's support our older gen girls! They've been here the longest, especially Sora and Roboco, but are considered underdogs compared even to the latest gens. Let's go guys!!!

While I follow Noel, I never knew of the struggles of some of the other girls. Again, thank you for shedding light on their troubles, I hope to support them as much as I can!
I'm not really that hardcore of a fan because it was my kids that introduced vtubers to our family but I always tell them to remind me if there will be Tarot streams by Mio since they always check member schedules as fans. I like the wisdom flowing from her words. It's not only wise, you can also feel care from it. Even if I am not the one consulting, I can take some of the advices and then apply it for myself. It really helps people when you have someone like Mio. Someone who has a good head on her/his shoulders and someone who could calmly analyze the situation then give you few tips to make your way around it. Hope she does this more often. I will watch it even if it is just a recording after the stream.

Sora's confusion is very interesting to me. I notice she's more like "virtual idol" than as a "streamer". If she does idol related stuff, she is one of the shining star in hololive. But as a streamer, i think she can grow bigger than she is now.
If she can find something new and that really "click" to her, she will grow even bigger (as a streamer).
If you watch Azki, you know she find geogussr as "her power", more people know her from her geogussr stream. I hope sora will find something new that really fit with her role, taste and her personality.
If i can brutally honest, I'm not into tarot or something even i don't believe in tarot. But probably only in this tarot reading stream i can watch as a "consultation stream" from another member and i can see their as a human being (like they show their anxious, happiness, sadness, confuse etc) .. Sora is an idol of the truest sense. She sings and performs on the stage and that is where she shines. Sadly, hololive is not an Idol Company. It is a Vtuber Company. Most of the activities of their members happens in front of a monitor not on a stage. This leaves someone like Sora completely displaced in the company. She doesn't have a stage to perform so she can't lean on her strengths. And she's not interested in becoming a content creator that plays video games which is what the company has become.
I can't imagine how hard it is for her. Even though she's contributed so much to hololive, the company has taken a direction that is breaking away from her vision. At one hand, she can just become a Vtuber and stream like the other girls. But if she did that, she'll be giving up on her dream as an idol and all that she's worked for. It's gotten to a point where I honestly think it would be better for her to break away from hololive and become independent. That way, she can strive for her dreams instead of having to abide by hololive's Vtuber standards. But the thought of her breaking away from hololive is heart breaking. She is the member that puts the Idol in Hololive. Without her, hololive will never be the same.
It would be great if hololive can reserve a space for Sora. Like having a stage and a big screen venue at the studio where members can hold live performance. People can buy tickets to go see her and other members perform. Other idols and artists can even collab with her.
Ok i drop some tears too, sometimes we forgot there is human beings behind those mask called Vtubers, sometimes we put too many pressure on them on what we want them to do, Tokino san last streams are Karaoke type it seems that she is taking the advice seriusly, i think they can do whatever they like i will be happy if they do whatever makes them happy.

am kinda scared because I think we all know this, that someday our oshi is gonna graduate whether we are ready or not. sorry for my gloomy thoughts, but Mio's conversation with Sora kinda hit me with some realization that I dont really want to face anytime soon.
That's why we enjoy every single second that we can with them.
At some point, she will crave for different experiences and she won't be able to take us with her on her journey. Maybe that's a bigger music career. Maybe that's starting a family. Regardless, she won't forget us, and we won't forget her.
I do worry about Sora sometimes, but I think she's tougher than she gives herself credit for. She's been through a lot of hard times and often feels like things haven't worked out the way she wanted, but honestly it's the fact that she can be open and honest about that which reassures me.
The issue with Soda is she is extremely limited in what she can do.
She can’t play games like others because her extremely bad motion sickness.
Hanging with other is difficult because of the respect barrier, and the people who use to be equal to her and have connections with from back in the day are dropping out of the scene one by one. ( her Kohais are getting better at approaching her but the hesitation is still there)
She has her own slew of health problems that non Soratomo’s won’t know since she doesn’t talk about them much since she doesn’t want to worry her fans. (Being Anemic, Weak to air pressure, being unable to sweat properly making her prone to heatstrokes, just to name a few)
Not to mention, she is a big talent in terms of company importance (being the OG an all) she needs to be careful about how she presents herself compared to others who can be a bit more lax.
Not to mention she is also tied up with a record label.
So she can feel very trapped and get very frustrated, as she can’t really do much with all the limitations I just listed since a lot of it are out of her hands.
She still wants to continue doing it and grow, but considering she is an OG that growth very much a snails pace as she doesn’t have the luxury of being “fresh” or “exciting” hence her comment on following trends…but that’s just goes against who she is, which just makes her unhappy.

Uncannily and unexpectedly, Chloe brightened the mood of the tarot reading session at the end.
The mood of that stream is pretty heavy but it's good that it end in happy note with Sakamata the Happy go lucky. Well, Baqua lightened it a bit first with the tee-tee then Sakamata truly light it up by having that question out of left field.
