Welcome to another collection video. In this episode we will be taking a relaxing look at my collection of Anime and Manga :D

So I have been watching anime since I was 9 in 2009 so I have alot of recommendations, I would narrow it down but I don't know how much free time you have so here we go:
1)Gintama 2)tokyo ghoul 3)black bullet 4)no game no life 5)yona of the dawn 6) world break: aria of curse for a holy swordsman 7) unlimited fafnir 8)the testament of sister new devil 9)akame ga kill 10)the fruit of grisaia 11)strike the blood 12)rurouni kenshin 13) bladedance of elementalers 14)brynhildr in the darkness (highly recommend from your taste maybe) 15) when super natural battles become commonplace AND OF COURSE dragon Ball z.
In my opinion no game no life, rurouni kenshin, yona of the dawn are a must watch. Sorry if it's to much

For just getting into anime/manga, you picked some really good ones to start off with! So glad you did a video over these and decided to share them with us!
Now, I'm gonna suggest two animes for you based on what I have seen in this video and if you are curious about them, look them up!
The first one I would suggest is "Stein's Gate". This is a very interesting anime that revolves around time travel and has it's fair share of comedy and tragedy. The story is fantastic (in my opinion) and it will keep you coming back for more. It has 24 episodes, an Special episode, and two movies.
The second one I would suggest is "Soul Eater". Soul Eater is about a group of kids that go to Death Weapon Mister Academy (The DWMA) and learn how to fight against the forces of evil that pray upon humans and disrupts the balance between good and evil. While this anime is not as serious as "Stein's Gate", "Death Note", or "Psycho Pass", it is extremely funny and it does have a very good story behind it. The manga does go farther than the anime though, so if you do start the anime and decide you want to learn more about the world and more about the characters, you should also give those a read as well!
And if you are hurting for space on your bookshelf and do not want to necessarily buy the manga or the disk for the anime, you could always got to Kissanime.com to watch anime, and use Mangahere.co if you want to read manga. I use both of those websites myself because it's hard to find/afford all of the anime/manga that I like, so I just use those sites as a different way of experiencing new anime/manga.

Take this advice. Soul eater and steins gate are very good anime to get into and both will leave you knowing a bit more about what you like/ dislike in your anime.
elis gibbard That's what I was going for :) But I didn't want to tell him to watch something a bit more hardcore ti'll he figured out what he likes. Hell, I would suggest Highschool DxD or To Love Ru if I knew he would like it. But, everyone has to find their click. You also recommend TTGL right off the bat? or too much?
Pyro, The Logical Otaku TTGL could be a good starting point but I think it was right of you to not mention it since steins gate and soul eater are absoloutly good enough reccomendations (although if anyone is reading this gurren lagann is very good). And yeah, we all found our favourites from just exploring what we like and soul eater, death note, attack on titan, steins gate and gurren lagann are just good starting points.
Although I think jumping in with highschool dxd as a starter could be a bit....um....misleading if you know what I mean.
Regardless, im glad another sensible person has joined the anime/manga community and I hope he has a good time. Anyone reading this thread should take pyro's advice, after all he/she is a logical otaku.

Definitely watch Kill La Kill. It's funny, serious, and badass all at the same time. It's kind of fan servicey, but it makes sense with the themes of the show. Tokyo Ghoul is really good, too.

Fullmetal alchemist: Brotherhood is an amazing anime. One of the first I watched and still one of my favorites. Cowboy Bebop is also a good one to check out.

Thank you for introducing me to death note! After watching this I was interested to check it out so I looked it up on TH-cam and watched the first five episodes. I think I'm addicted now lol. I know it's old but I think it's my new favorite anime for the time being.

Bokurano. A very unknown anime that I enjoyed more than other greats such as steins gate and clannad just because it is sadder and deeper in it's messages.

you seem to like lots of dark themed animes so i would suggest 1) Mirai Nikki: it about these ppl given "future diaries" and they have to use them to kill each other to win a survival game.. yuno gasai is the best part of it imo lol and 2) tokyo ghoul: there is a species called ghouls that look like humans and eat humans and it about the unfortunate events following kaneki who becomes a ghoul after an accident. its pretty intense and sad. anyway, hope you check em out!

I found Mirai Nikki to be a pretty dumb show because it doesn't follow it'w own rules established in the show.

I fell out of Anime and Manga a while ago, but one that I still quite fondly remember was Soul Eater. While I'd advise reading the Manga first, the Anime is much more common to find. I've only ever been able to track down issues 1-10 of the American-translated Manga, but I'm sure with a little bit of searching, you could find them all. Or just read them online, your call. Still, I'd highly recommend it.

I was going to suggest some anime, but many already have been suggested in the comments so I will recommend an underrated title called Birdy the Mighty Decode. Not many people have heard of it and I found it to be surprisingly good.

I always point people in the direction of Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood when they're just getting into anime. They just have an overall mass appeal with really great storytelling.
I have always hated anime, i find it to be creepy as fuck sometimes, so its not really for me, but i really enjoyed this video :) Keep it up Brah!
***** Because the cartoons are really fucking wierd and trippy. There is always some fucked up monster there and almost always a sworm of tentacles floating about. I watched Spirited away, princess monoke, Flying Castle, and that witch one as well as several anime series like pokemon, Totally Spies and Duel Master when i was a younger, but theres just something about that creeps me out. Not for me haha, but each to their own right?
I used to be into that stuff but now I find it a bit weird the only thing I'm gonna stick around for is attack on Titan season 2 as it is a really cool TV show with cool action! :D

For starting I would not advise something as lengthy as fairy tail. And also to anyone watching highschool dxd is basically hentai- I felt embarassed watching it and stopped halfway through ep 2. However, each to his own so dont let me stop you.

elis gibbard Highschool DxD is a bit different, i'll give you that, but it is not hentai. It does have a considerable amount of ecchi and other provocative stuff, but the story that is there is also really good. Now, i'm not going to tell you to go back and watch it if it didn't appeal to you, but just know that it is not just fanservice. I could go into a bit more detail if you like, but I need to go to sleep. staying awake ti'll 2:13 on a school night is a bad idea haha.

The ASMR Gamer brotherhood specifically. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a remake of the original, and it more closely follows the Manga storyline. Basically, FMA:B makes more sense.
