I think it is interesting that people don't even need to deep dive on Neil's drumming to know he's great, but a deep dive is always worthy cause he somehow plays better than what people think
Which i find obnoxious but hey im the one in the garage while hes appearing on all the records. Its just becoming over the top whereas it use to be unique but still make sense
...and the dude from Silversun Pickups... Saw them once and he had ride, hat and one SUPER high crash. I assumed it was to keep himself from over using it since he rarely hit it. I mean it was UP THERE swaying like wheat in the breeze. Maybe he didn't have the ride, that's foggy.
Just saying I’m kinda shocked you don’t know a little more about Rush. They gained a lot of ground in wny being from “right over the river.” I was fortunate enough to see them on R40 in NYC years ago Also you said his name wrong😂. “P👂t”
Daru Jones just keeps getting whackier and whackier, with each kit making less and less sense ergonomically. However in his early days, he had fairly normal kits that were just low and steeply angled in the opposite direction. They were cool though and things were in appropriate places not "side" snares behind the hats for example (that's a new thing hes doing)
Brother count:37
Less brothers, but more brothers-per-person.
Rookie numbers
DJ said he did it to stand out and be different. Plain and simple.
Bro is killing it with the vids lately
Ahahahahhah I love your sense of humor. I'm a "brother" brother now

Saw Daru play with Jack White and got anxiety when the show was starting and I thought the floor tom had been knocked over 😂
For Tomy that is sub bass drum, that big one is conected to one with normal size.
Daru said he literally only sets it up that way to be different…. Like it serves no purpose but to stand out.
love that 👏
Never go full retard!

6:40 I'm left handed but I set my kit up normally like god intended it. >:/
You could do a video on all of the different Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson) drum sets he's used. They're all pretty cool and weird simultaneously.
Hell yeah brother, love these vids
Daru’s kit looks like it fell over and he kinda just left it
Where’s Terry Bozzio?
He needs a part 2 with Terry Bozzio, Mickey Curry, Gary Busey, Mike Mangini and Jonathan Moffett.
unique
You should also check Igor Cavalera, Mike Bordin and Bill Bruford's drum sets. Those are very strange set-ups.
Part 2 coming soon?
is that "fool in the rain" in the backround?
"when he's late to work, he goes slower" lmaoo
Hey I don’t know if you made this because of me but I did suggest this in the comments of one of your past videos lol
Ha now i wanna know if thats the comment i liked
Its nothing too crazy, but I always found John Stanier's super high crash cymbal to be kind of funny.

Do an image search for Denny Fongheiser's kits in the 90s--oughts. Heard to believe anyone can play it set up like he did/ does. 😮

I think daru said its basically 100% style too be unique
If not mistaken i heard thst Harry is right handed but learned to play left handed and that why he plays his kit like that

pretty sure tommy lee rocks a 22 behind the 30. it's just a prop.
You're the first bro I've ever heard talking on TH-cam with a cow paddy in his mouth.
But that's just my opinion.😊
Terry bozzio, aquiles priester,😁
0:20 his kit is on that fentanyl lean. :/
brutherr
How the hell you gon show me that monstrosity of a drum set up and then NOT show us a clip of him playing Bruh……
Lmao 😂
I'm disappointed with this video. Only 1 microphone slap?? Come on brother!!
