That was not just a brake service ! That was a whole adventure, with side quests. Thank you so much for putting it all into one video, its cool to see the whole story from start to end. Without having to go find part two. Great solutions you came up with. very interesting content

It was a bit of a lengthy video but yes that was the idea. Thank you for the positive feedback! What a curve ball got thrown there...

My rear wheel is getting stuck, worse on warm days, is that likely air trapped, its an abs so would this be the same method.

Hello, Air in the brake system causes a more spongy brake(softer lever pull)
Could be a wheel bearing on the way out?
Could also be your ABS system(Faulty wheel speed sensor, or possibly the pump)
Does this happen at random, or is it while braking?

@@Js-Garage thx for replying, it seems fine when the weather is cooler but if the bike is sitting in the sun for a bit, i then struggle to push the bike at all, disc and calliper get very hot after going a mile or two. I thought maybe air in the lines expanding because of heat might be the reason? Don't understand why it only happens when the bike is sat the sun. The fluid in the reservoir is right on the full level line, could that be an issue, maybe too much in there?

With what you are saying above, it sounds to me like the pistons in the brake caliper are sticking. Or the caliper isn't floating freely. I would try taking the caliper off and giving it a proper blow out with air and then also use a brake and part cleaner. Just give it a thorough cleaning.
Worth a try and wont cost much.
      Let me know.
