I wouldn’t say any of nurko’s songs are melodic bass, they’re pretty much all melodic dubstep Also I have something against nurko, so I wouldn’t have included him anyway
@@benmallory6958 I’ll admit that he actually has some good songs like You can be my light and without me remix, but overall his sound design is very loud with little focus on melody
Great mix! I love it! btw, What is "Melodic Bass"? I've never heard this genre... Is this genre between "Future Bass" & "Melodic Dubstep"?? but I think this video also includes Some "Synthpop"...
@@official_nore most people use melodic bass as an umbrella term for all the melodic genres. But I feel like all the songs in this video don’t belong to melodic dubstep or future bass, instead they’re a lot slower and have a 4 on the floor drum pattern. And like loftt said they’re less stuttery
Unlike melodic dubstep and future bass, melodic bass doesn’t really have a solid definition. A lot of people see it as an umbrella term for all the melodic genres, but if you listen to this video for just 2 mins you’ll start to see a pattern in the songs. Melodic bass - synthy saw waves, 4 on the floor beat, smoother sound Melodic dubstep - heavier drops, usually around 140-160 bpm, dubstep like percussion, half beat, still very melodic Future bass - lighter sound design, half beat, can be chill or intense, usually more stuttery
@@TopBeatsEDM I'm not a genre master but I know what's the difference between Synthwave and melodic dubstep. Synthwave tends to be slower than melodub
No, they can be similar sometime as Seven Lions - First Time (melodic dubstep) and Rain Man - Habits (future bass) sound really similar. You just get a sense of the difference over time
@@TopBeatsEDM I know the differences between melodic dubstep and future bass. but, what are the differences between melodic bass and melodic dubstep? (I'm screwed)
@@Shin_Sone I don’t think there’s an actual definition, as I see people say certain music is melodic bass when to me it sounds like melodic dubstep (BrillLion - Atlantis) But I would say the difference comes from both the drum pattern. So most of the songs I’d define as melodic bass have a four on the floor pattern and melodic dubstep is half beat. I think bpm also plays a role as melodic bass songs tend to be a lot slower kinda around 110-130 bpm whereas melodic dubstep is usually 140-160
They’re pretty similar but I would say no. The main difference is that melodic bass tends to be slower bpm and is usually a 4 on the floor drum pattern

thank for featuring a few of my songs in this!! im so happy the the lowed place i got is in the top 40
Killed it!!! I thought sad machine was synthpop but it turned out to be Melodic bass.
Melodic Bass is pretty hard to define sometimes so I totally understand that
basically a mix of future bass and melodic dubstep
No. Only melodic bass
@@TopBeatsEDM melodic bass don't exist. 😘
thank you sir for being willing to upload again and this time I like the 1:40 part because it touches my heart

I was honestly expecting for the reprise version of Flatline by Blanke, but now idk if it is melodic bass
That song is beautiful, I would consider it melodic dubstep. But it’s hard to differentiate between those 2 genres so maybe it is melodic bass
#5 is so fire
Their first masterpiece
Amazing intro
Thanks, tbh the intro is my favourite part, despite it taking way less time then everything else
Wow #1 is Good Chosen!!
@Not that pitchy stuff, Again! melodic bass kinda IS melodic dubstep soo🤷🏼♂️
Solo el future bass te puede hacer flotar de esta manera ❤🐦

Kind of like Future Bass but no stuttering effects or pretty much chiller version of future bass, Also true

I’m not a fan of nurko, I feel like most of his songs are too loud and not melodic enough

But Crystal Cloud is Synthwave
And waterfall (NCS) is pure melodic dubstep, that drop is future bass imo
