    There you go! You are like 30 miles from my backyard now. Glad you're sticking around Texas and having some fun! If you get a cowboy hat, make sure they steam the creases in it. I think "The Best Hat Store" has a great selection of custom fit hats. Congrats on your first rodeo!

    Hello there carpet bagger and Jenny Pennie I loved this video that you’ve done I came from and lived half my life in Texas, I used to barrel race and breakaway café rope and sometimes the Cowboys do get hurt. There was a lot of them that I’ve gotten hurt to the point where they can’t do it again and some of them have died like Lane Frost 😢 but it is what it is and these Cowboys are raised in a family to where they just love what they do but I enjoyed every bit of this. thank you so much for sharing, and I’m grateful that you and Jenny both enjoyed watching and going through this experience, you take a great be safe wonderful day. ❤🤠

    Fort Worth is one of the coolest cities. I was fortunate enough to grow up here and see the transformation of the stock yards from basically nothing to what it is now. They did a great job. Wish I could move back. Nice video covering the area. Just needed to go into Leddy’s and get yourself a pair of boots. Also you need to see the “big” exchange show and Rodeo in Fort Worth that happens in late January. That’s really something.

    I’m glad y’all went out there, and Jen experienced her first rodeo. 🤠 Back in March of 2022, I took my son Noah there and filmed an episode for my channel. We were fortunate to see the cattle drive in the cooler weather, but we missed out on the museum as it was closed.
    The John Wayne Experience is definitely a must see. I looked for your name in the guest registry, but it was a new book since you had signed the previous one.
    Next time you are there, you need to take advantage of the all you can eat beef ribs at the Riscky’s BBQ there at the entrance of the Stockyards Station (not the Riscky’s Steakhouse by the arena).

    Fun facts on rodeos most bulls known as bucking bulls are Brahman cows mixed with other breeds to make big flashy bulls to made ride. To encourage the bucking they have a rope or band around the back of the cow that lays on their back hips (avoiding their area and its also used for horses mostly mustangs) that gives them something to buck at mostly you don't notice it or think its part of the saddle. Most rodeo bulls and horses that are used in rodeos know when its showtime and remember the starting to end of their show.
    Cow facts:there are over 250 breeds of cows in the world 5 of them are longhorns

    Nice to see "Trigger" on display in a prominent spot. I grew up in Victorville and unfortunately never got the chance to see the Roy Rogers Museum before it closed and got replaced with another car stealership. That said, I wonder how much of the former collection is on display. Time to make a whole trip dedicated to hitting up each museum where the old exhibits are displayed. Along with the Trigger and the dog, I'm guessing the rest of the museum collection is spread out all over the country/world in either public or private collections. As an added bonus, one should do a wax statue of Dusty Rogers as a clown.

    Watched a video the other day about a bull who performs at rodeos, and I say perform, because it was obvious that he enjoys it. He also seems to enjoy people petting him, not true of all bulls, so ask first. This video makes me think that this is true of most rodeo bulls. I was pleased to find out that many if not all of them are pampered.

    • @StickySauce101
      @StickySauce101 ปีที่แล้ว

      makes sense even if the owner isn't ethical, the bulls are the main attraction thus it pays to keep them happy and strong, only a person who has very little sense would abuse their bulls as it is tossing away money.

In Kingsland, TX is the original house from TX Chainsaw Massacre. It's been turned into a restaurant called Hoopers. There is also the original gas station from the movie in Bastrop, TX. They have some pictures and props from the movies. Outside they have the van from the original movie.
