Here we will be tying the fly Friskó by Jón Helgi Jónsson. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing and have had remarkable results in the Þingvellir lake. The fly catches mostly arctic char but by and by the brown trout goes for it as well. Friskó is simple to tie and totally worth to keep few in your box when go fishing.
Pattern

Hook: Ahrex FW580 #10
Thread: UNI 8/0 black.
Body: Brown floss.
Rib: UNI oval silver small.
Thorax: 2-3 strands of good peacock hearl.
Beard: Black rooster or hen.
Wing: Ring pheasant tail tippet.
Head: Black ⅔, red Globrite ⅓, coated with UV Solarez Bone Dry.
