Great video, can I check one point. When doing the runner installation, is the idea that you run this installation on either your local computer or a server, then that is tied together with the gitlab pipeline because you specified a gitlab url? i.e. that is the glue between gitlab and the runner?
In a real world, yes, that is how it should be and that is how it works. You can also put your project physically on the system where you need to run it, but in that case in case of any changes you will have to make them manually. So in practical having a gitlab url for the project is used.
