Something I associate with this deck of tarot is the colours regarding the chakras. I read these into the interpretation. Often grey is in the images which i then align to the ego mind. So in this card the battle occurs and his swords are pointing up toward the grey clouds indicating he may be leading with his ego. His swords are still protecting his heart (green chakra) so he is not being his truth because as you said he feels he needs to win rather than acceptanceof self which would be yellow chakra. The colours of the physical body are very obvious therefore he is leading from his ego mind rather than his essence.
Thank you, i understand this card better now. I have been going through a phase where i need to win a competition but i have started looking down at others in pretense of thinking of myself better. This clears up a lot of things. Thanks again
Today as I walked down the street I saw a playing card (the five of spades) on the pavement in front of me and I’ve learned that it’s aka the five of swords in Tarot!
Love it! Like a therapysession. Could I drar any card and would I feel as if it was just so incredibly right and helpful and useful? I dont believe that. I have to believe in The magic
Pulled this card in response to a very polarizing, angry video of a certain political persuasion (it could have been any, but in America is definitely one of the two main political parties, I’d rather not say which one because I don’t want to get into any politics.) But this explanation could not have been a better answer to my inquiry, wow. It’s so apt to rather subject matter, and unfortunately my friend has allowed this divisive thinking to color her whole life, and she is frequently angry. We are close enough that I can share this with her, who knows if she will be receptive to the message, but she asked my opinion on the video and this reading is going to be my answer 😅 Thank you!
I pulled this card in two different situations in life. One was when I requested a fee from my own aunt (I wrote an article for her publication at the time) and I spoke with her very harshly because the payment was late, etc. It turned out she was very sorry about my behaviour. The second time was when I confronted my crush on why he clicked "like" on a woman's post. We haven't talked since.
Marcus, Wow your comment triggered me and really made me think! Could this also apply to masculine energy in general... the masculine within us all, male or female?

No man truly wants conflict, or to be challenged by a loved one. Men seek freedom and acceptance.
@@marcusveysey Thank you. You are very kind.

Could it be asking us to consider acceptance with Grace rather than fighting. But not by giving up but by considering both sides?
it calls us to see how when we fight, there is no winner
You said that swords is the suit of the mind. I assume that pentacles is the suit of the material/physical aspect. How about the other ones?
Cups are the feelings, emotions, desires, sensitivity, our inner artisit, love.
Wands are transformation, intuition, passion, purpose, creativity, sexuality.
