@lidiazoloto7736 🌸🌻You're so welcome! ❤️Hello, Lidia😊and welcome to the U.S. Citizenship Help Guide TH-cam channel. Lidia, know your local United States state representative, governor, senators, and state capital since these questions may come up for your 2024 civics test. When you go for your interview, take your time to answer the questions, especially the ones from form N-400. If you don't hear a question clearly, don't hesitate to ask the USCIS officer to repeat it. Double-check the answers you wrote in your N-400 application. Some people fail because they do not understand the question, so stay focused during the interview.
Bring your I-797C Notice of Action (interview notice letter), as you'll need it to enter the USCIS building. This letter also tells you which documents to bring. Remember to get all your essential documents, including the originals, as the officer may ask to see them. They'll give back the original documents after the interview.

Thank you very much for the informative video.
It helps a lot in preparing for the USCIS interview. But please correct the audio in this video because in many sentences, the first part of the audio is cut in half. It is very difficult to listen and understand, especially for people who do not have English as their native language.
    I hope for your understanding.
    Thanks 😊

Is there really a new update to the US citizenship exam questions now?

    • @USCitizenshipHelpGuide
      @USCitizenshipHelpGuide  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

@BaasimSaleh-zo1cq🌸🌻❤️Hello, Baasim Saleh, and welcome to our TH-cam channel. If you have any questions or need help, we are here to help and guide you with the US Citizenship interview and test preparation. Since July 2023, the (USCIS) US Citizenship and Immigration Services has proposed changes to the US citizenship test. So, with the English-speaking section, the test will include a new section that assesses or evaluates the applicant’s English skills. So, a USCIS officer will present photos of everyday scenarios, like daily activities, food, or weather, and ask the applicant to describe them verbally or orally (the applicant talks about it face-to-face with an immigration officer). With the Civics section, the test will have a new written multiple-choice format for the civics exam. So there could be separate examinations.
In 2024, USCIS is changing the test you take to become a US citizen. The new civics test will have multiple-choice questions about how the government works, so the applicant is given selections for the correct answer. Instead of memorizing one of the answers, the applicant has to learn them all, to choose the right answer. The USCIS will also check how well you can speak English by asking you to discuss pictures of everyday activities. They're currently trying out these changes and should start using the new test later in 2024. The goal is to make the test more fair and the same for everyone. Groups that help people prepare for the test are already preparing for these changes. I hope this information is helpful!
Know your local United States state representative, governor, senators, and state capital since these questions may come up for your 2024 civics test.
Bring your I-797C, Notice of Action (interview notice letter), as you'll need it to enter the USCIS building. This letter also tells you which documents to bring. Remember to bring all your important documents, including the originals, as the officer may ask to see them. They'll give back the original documents after the interview.

Rather, there is a rumor that the application n-400 questions have completely changed, and that it is considered the new update instead of fifty questions that have become thirty-seven and the procedure will apply for each one who will begin to apply for citizenship now. I hope that you will be sure of this information, if it is true. I hope that a new video will be downloaded in your channel showing us the meanings of the words of application and their new questions.

@BaasimSaleh-zo1cq Do USCIS officers ask for definitions in a naturalization interview? A few USCIS officers ask immigrant applicants to define some words or phrases on Form N-400 to check or verify if the applicant understands the question. The truth is, that many of the words and phrases on the N-400 are just challenging to English learners. However, the USCIS also provided a policy on its website that applicants will not fail the interview and tests if they can’t define any word in the N-400 application form. With the “Scoring Guidelines for the U.S. Naturalization Test” and under ENGLISH, anyone can easily see that under SPEAKING, it’s clear what the USCIS policy and I quote, “An applicant’s verbal skills are determined by the applicant’s answers to questions normally asked by an officer during the naturalization eligibility interview. During the naturalization eligibility interview, the officer will review the Form N-400, Application for Naturalization (Form N-400) for accuracy. Officers are required to repeat and rephrase questions until the officer is satisfied that the applicant either fully understands the question or does not understand English. If the applicant generally understands and responds to questions relevant to the determination of eligibility, then the applicant demonstrates the ability to speak English. The applicant may respond with simple words or phrases.” In the second part, anyone can easily read that under UNDERSTANDING, it’s clear what the USCIS policy is. I quote, “If the applicant is responsive to questions, directions, or prompts during the naturalization interview, then the applicant demonstrates the ability to understand English. USCIS Officers must repeat and rephrase questions until the officer is satisfied that the applicant either fully understands the question or does not understand English. The ability to understand English will not be based on being asked to provide a definition of a word or phrase found in Form N-400. You can read it here through the official link from the USCIS: www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/Test_Scoring_Guidelines.pdf
We want to create a new video on our channel that explains the meanings of the words in the N-400 application and the latest questions. We also want to show a sample naturalization interview using the questions coming from the new N-400 application form. If you would like to see the new N-400, you read this through the USCIS link: www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/n-400.pdf

Thank you but I have questions here,
Washington is the Father of our Country. ( from another video) Washington is the father of our country. Washington is the Father of Our Country. ( by google)
The White House is in Washington, D.C. or The White House is in Washington, DC.
The United States has 50 states. or The United States has fifty states.
Washington was the first President or Washington was the first president. ( To the best of my knowledge I knew "P for President should be capitalized only if it's directly come before person's name and when addressing the President directly.)
The American flag is red, white, and blue. or The American flag is red, white and blue. ( For me, it shouldn't have a comma in white.)

@DiepNguyen-mh1kl 😊🌸🌻❤️Hello Diep Nguyen, and welcome to the U.S. Citizenship Help Guide TH-cam channel. Applicants aged 65 or older who have been permanent residents for at least 20 years will be given special consideration regarding the civics requirement. Permanent resident card holders (with green cards) who are age 65 or older and have lived in the U.S. as permanent residents for at least 20 years (not necessarily continuously) when filing for naturalization can take an easier version of the Civics Test. This is commonly referred to as the “65/20 exception.” An applicant who fits this category will be given special consideration and will have to study only 20 questions rather than the 100 civics questions for the naturalization test. The Civics Test with 20 questions can be in English or through the applicant’s language of choice with the help of an interpreter. The applicant will be asked ten of the 20 questions (Civics Test) and will correctly answer six to pass. Applicants in this category are exempted from the English Reading, Writing, and Speaking Tests. Applicants in this category are still required to take the Civics Test (Knowledge of U.S. history and government), but officers administer specially designated test forms for the applicants. If you have any questions or need help, we are here to help and guide you with the U.S. Citizenship interview and test preparation. We sincerely hope you pass your naturalization interview and tests at the USCIS Field Office.🌸🌻❤️ May the loving God bless you! 🙏
