The 2017 CR-V in Canada have the panoramic sunroof, I don't understand why the US don't have it. It's weird but I love it. Honda guy here after all I drive a 2016 Honda Accord Touring V6!

which would you get, the 2016 or the 2017 touring if the 2016 had less than 50 miles and was 6K less than the 2017, are all the upgrades on the 2017 worth the extra 8k?
The Canadian and euro version is SO MUCH BETTER you get Pano roof and Auto fold mirrors. U.S version they skimp on theses as if we don't need those features. Even Hyundai and Kia put those perks on the low models cars (high trims though ex and sx)
Can you please check when does the Blind Spot Monitor actually work on the 2017 CRVs? I test drove a CRV Touring yesterday and noticed that the Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) does not work consistently. When I had the left turn signal on to merge with the left lane, It did not work on lower speeds (it didn't light up or flash when cars were close in the other lane) or when moving slowly in traffic, like at 5 miles an hour. It only seemed to work when going over 40. Like some others, I'm not too happy about losing the Lane Watch, but if BSM is the replacement, I would like to know if it is as spotty as it seems.
That's what I thought, but checking with you since it didn't. To make sure, I test drove again (unfortunately, same car) and noticed the same issue again.
Is there any way I can get some car advice from you? Not sure how to chat or talk to you. I've to buy a car REAL soon, but I'm super confused between Camry XLE/ Outback Limited /Forester/ CRV and some advice would help me decide.
How do the many screens interact with low temperatures? We have here minus 30 degrees Celsius sometimes. Won't I have any problems with the screens? I understand that these are not old LCD screens, but anyway...
Well, I would like to see someone starting this car and driving in low temperatures, just to be sure ;) BUT, I am no doubt Honda fan. This CR-V model is very nice indeed.
I would definitely get this thing fully loaded. Unfortunately it's missing the heated steering wheel, cooled seats and those default rims are horrible. I would pay for the standalone options of heated wheel, cooled sealed, and pano moon roof.
W-_-T I would also like a panoramic sunroof and cooled seats why does Canadian version has a panoramic sunroof and we don't get it here that's ridiculous
The RDX really has three advantages: 1) 280 hp V6...2) LED projectors instead of reflectors...3) longer New Car and Powertrain warranties. Oh, and for us older folk, the RDX has a CD player. :-)

I own a 2016 CR-V Touring! It is a great vehicle! But I think the information display on the New 2017 blows away that which came with the 2016. And the new display appears to be far more intuitive and easy to use. That part of the car I would trade in a heartbeat. But I do get outstanding mileage and have adequate power with AWD on the 2016.
This is a Touring.. This one just wasn't fully loaded.. The car has a Blind Spot monitor, so there is no Lane Watch. The EX-L has different wheels as well.

Compare to the murano which is also a 5 passenger cvt that weghs about 2tons. But the murano gives you so much more: more hp for nearly the same weight. Faster 0-60. Goes further on a eank of gas. All reviewers agree it ismore cumfortable and more luxurious. Cooled seats, panoramic moonroof, bose sound system. None of which is offered on the top trim of the CRV. Not to mention the awsome surround view on a huge 8" screen. So murano takes the crown in this comparison. It does everything better especially when it comes to looks.
You're not alone. We get a lot of complaints at the dealership from customers regarding the clicking sound. Explaining "direct injection" to them is always time-consuming.
Honda's new cars .. Civic, Ridgeline, this, are starting to be really nice. Unft they lack heavily in technology. Toyota/Chevy/Hyundai all have 360 cameras, parking sensors etc. Really expensive to be honest, for what it lacks.
There are CVTS's that Honda sells that do have paddle shifters. The Honda Fit is one of them. Which I don't understand. Why do some Hondas with CVTS have shifters and other's don't? And what is the point of them since there is no gear to shift in between?
Please Honda Headquarters do answer why the 2017 all new CR-V sold in South Korea is full of rust inside it even if it is just sold since May of 2017. And you Honda should refund or exchange the rusty CR-V into the new One free of rust just like U.S.A.

I agree. It's strange that Honda was still using CASSETTE players in their 2008 models, but less than ten years later, they're already getting rid of CD players. If the target demographic for this model was teenagers, I'd say sure, lose the CD player, but the CR-V is targeted at middle-aged people like me who still use CDs. Bad move, IMO.

They have, actually. It has torque vectoring, and it now can send up to 50% of power to the rear wheels.

The screens should work fine in any temperature since they're not LCD's anymore.

This is the 1.5T. The 2.4 is only on the LX

The 2.4 does have less power than the 1.5T, the Turbo's power comes on the lower end, so it will feel more powerful than the 2.4.

Pretty much, yes. But, you can only get a CVT w/ the CRV. The manual transmission would make it so much better

Because it's a CVT. No point in having paddle shifters when there are no gears to shift.

Honda is good, but I will go VW Tiguan (air suspension) or CC (default)
The Air Suspension will be on your bad side, when it's time to be replaced. Unless if that wouldn't matter. I like the Tiguan too

Actually, CD sales went up last year for the fist time is 10 years. A 2017 Nissan Murano is looking better & better.....
