Troy Built Bronco Tiller Predator Engine Swap

  • Engine threw a rod on my Troy-Bilt Bronco rear tine tiller. Read and watch that a lot of people were having good luck with these Predator engines from Harbor Freight. Decided to pick one up and see how it went. It's been a while since I did it and this little tiller has tilled up quite a lot of ground the engine starts super super easy. Definitely am happy with the purchase.

    No problem man, it always frustrates me when I have to replace something or do something like this and there's no detailed videos or write ups on it.     Did the bolt that attaches the drive pully to the shaft fit the predator engine?

      Been awhile since I did that swap,, but I'm pretty sure the bolt was the exact same.

    Was the washer on the old motor?

      Sorry just now seeing this comment, no no problems at all with the Bronco. The mounting holes were the exact same
