YAY!!! I heard this live at a concert yesterday (performed amazingly) and fell instantly in love with it. During the interlude I asked the violinist if there were any recordings of it and there seemed to be not too many and almost thought that it was the first and last time I had heard it. I'm soooo glad that it's up here on youtube (and surprised that it was so easy to find!), thank you a million times for this upload!
thanks fenberry. I noted that our musical taste is identical, i.e italian baroque. a touch of delicacy and musical mastermind. glad you liked it that much.
performed by Ricercar Consort. conductor Philippe Pierlot. solo parts played by François Fernandez. his intonation never fails, and each phrase is shaped beautifully, no doubt it's the best performance ever, in my opinion.
You all prolly dont care but does someone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Bodhi Brian I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I have your same taste of you two...and I guess there are a lot of people who love this kind of music! I sing as tenor but only early music, I don't like opera.
This beautiful music from heaven !I love it❤️

This is the kind of piece which just makes you happy.
agreed
I love this version of Bertali's Chiacona. I heard it played by the Ensemble Belladonna years ago, & everyone was mesmerized by this beautiful music.
Nice interpretation. Can't stop listening to it. Simply amazing!
Delightful mellow version. Up there with the Rare Fruits Council version, which is the definitive rendition.
i loved this so much that i actually went to itunes and bought it. it's been a while since i've done that ...
I'm with you, Miss Rayuu. I keep coming back to it over and over again!
great piece; very positive, very fresh.
Fabulous piece and every version of it on You Tube is great to listen to! Veronika is the best to watch, though.

breath taking !
Foarte frumos.
Very beautiful.
A nice performance. Who are the performers?
Is this ceiling fresco by Andrea Pozzo in the church of Sant'Ignazio in Rome?
Yes.
This piece is so lovely, although, I think John Holloway's interpretation of this particular ciaconna is much more passionate.
I have your same taste of you two...and I guess there are a lot of people who love this kind of music! I sing as tenor but only early music, I don't like opera.
@grandadpoppyable the basso is played with theorbo :)
