the question is to what extent do people like Ramaswamy have divided loyalties? what part of him is more Indian than American? Same argument goes for Sunak in UK. Nothing wrong in asking. Some have no other cultural influence but that which comes from their homeland, as opposed to that which comes from their adopted homeland.

So, a conservative Indian American politican trying to appeal to a politically incorrect conservative audience decided to take a pointedly RACIAL statement from "conservative provocateur" Coulter as not racist? Yes, that tracks. I am sure Tim Scott would do the same thing with that "you can't call black people 'articulate'" statement she made as well. Know your audience.
BTW, Samuel Huntington is the same guy who said that non-white cultures don't share the same understanding of democracy as Western societies. That ethnicizing of politics seems to be a running gag with the late political scientist... kinda orientalist, I'd say.
