The oil she asked you to use was not for moisturisation purpose XD The moisturizer will actually just work the opposite way. I live in India and here we put henna on our hands as a tradition whenever we go to weddings. So the main use of oil is to support the colour of henna. If you put oil on surface before putting henna, the colour and effect of henna would come out brighter and really vibrant ! So its basically not for prepping skin, but actually a catalyst. Hope this helps u in future 🤣🤣

You used colour henna. It' turns the same colour. You were supposed use natural henna made from leaf. They turns light to dark brown.

I do henna tatoos so...
Some recomendations are
-The more time you leave the paint on your skin the more pigmentated it would be
-If you want to do precise tiny spots you should use a toothpick
-You should wash your face before the paint is completely dry if the henna you are using is really liquid, if it has a semi-solid texture as it becomes solid you should take it off to avoid hiperpigmentation
-For this kind of works you should use semi-solid light redish brown henna

Nesrine plus exfoliation, either a scrub or acids such as glycolic acid. Doing it too much isn’t good, but a light glycolic acid can actually be done everyday and will not irritate. In fact with acne prone skins, using glycolic acid everyday can be a lifesaver!

Three things,
1) this was most likely fake henna. Like, it most likely had dye in it. I always have bad reactions to henna that has dye in it so usually in my household, they make me try it first on like my hand before they do anything with it 😂😂 You should try using natural Henna powder.
2) You left it for way too long. I already taught you were taking too long half way through the application. The longer you leave it on, the more it holds.
3) It fades with water, so just trying washing your face as often as possible. Any oils or oily products make it darker so avoid those. Usually, we use oil on it to make it darker and to last longer

Just a little advice for the viewers (I haven’t scrolled through the comments so I don’t know if people have already commented this) henna should not really be bought on eBay, people have had like second degree burns with henna bought on eBay 🤷🏽♀️ I love henna and it kinda gives henna a bad name when you buy online - it’s never supposed to burn and it’s not meant to be that colour. Also it’s been over a month so it’s prob come off for Naomi, but if anyone else wants to know the best way to get rid of henna, it’s to exfoliate. Trust me, it works wonders!

I used a pink sponge thing I’ll say at the bottom SOMTHING close to it because I don’t know the exact names
•So a pink rough scrub brush (bottom)
• Bioré steam activated cleanser in the shower
•clean&Clear morning burst facial scrub and then I added my own sugar
•then I made my own sugar scrub and exfoliated with that
•also I heard that sunflower oil with sugar is good too but I didn’t try that one out and that baking soda can help if you let I dry on your skin then wipe it off with a textured face wipe
(I have an apricot one that would work I’ll see if I can find the brand or SOMTHING similar)

The one I used was very rough so idk if this one is rough or not
But if you have sensitive skin im going to suggest you don’t do it because the exfoliation could mess up your skin.....But I hope this helps you lol ;)....Also I used brown henna instead of black

Non emergency all natural henna cones can be purchased directly from professional henna artists online in small, not mass produced batches. Henna paste should only contain henna powder from henna leafs, water/lemon juice, and various essential oils. I recommend hennacaravan.com where I purchase all my henna supplies to mix my own. I have been a professional henna artist for 9 years and I am ICNHA certified.
