    This is probably one of the best insert making videos I have watched! Very informative and such an economical way to customize your inserts.

      Thank you so much for your nice words. When I looked into getting a Confettidori I found out buying inserts would be very pricey. I have SO much paper, I'm happy to have found another use for them. TFW! Much love, Jocy

    So cool to see your process video on how to do this. I really love some of those books you made. You did so many with an adorable nautical/sea theme...those are so cute!

    Thank you so much! I've been wanting to try this. I made an insert to hold my #30lists for 30 days of lists. I really like how you added the graph paper and vellum. Your instructions were easy to follow.

    If you trimmed the papers to size before you fold them, wouldn’t you have larger scrap pieces? And then the trimming would be minimal

    This fauxdori things is all new to me ,but i have a question . Why don't you stalpe you notebooks ? I'm new to your videos and I'm getting some good ideas from you . Thanks

    • @jannbiclar9782
      @jannbiclar9782 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think its because the pages are thicker. The staples can only hold so much if you are putting a lot.

    What brand roller cutter do you use? I picked up one that in a word... sucks. I had to use a box cutter to cut my Midori inserts because the roller cutter I had just couldn't get the job done. TIA

    • @mycraftyside
      @mycraftyside  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Sorry I'm so late in responding to your message. The brand of roller cutter I have is Fiskars. I either got it at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Hope that helps. TFW! much love, Jocy

  • @yupyup1562

    FYI: Just to be safe with a rotary cutter, they do make protective gloves you can wear to protect the hand holding the ruler, in case the cutter jumps the ruler. It does happen now and then.
