Poet of poem is John Berryman...
The lessons we recieve from this poem are :-
    1) Loss is an integral part of human life , everyone has to face losses in their life.
    2) Rather than grieving on our losses, we should accept them and move forward as we can't avoid losses in life.
    3) Money is just external, it can buy us supplies and services but can't buy us the memories and emotions which were related to the lost things.
    4) We should move forward in life and sacrifice all our materialistic possessions

What I have learnt from this poem is that , we should not grieve on materialistic things.
Losses are the integral part of life.
Instead of feeling bad on losses we should learn our responsibilities of handling our emotions .
Feelings are only for a point of time ,let them come and let them go .
At the time of difficulty no will be there for us even not the poet of this poem for giving us the lessons

The name of the poet is John Berryman. It teaches the fact that every materialistic thing we possess is bound to get lost one day. There is no means mourning over that loss as it will only deteriorate our mental and physical health. The only way to overcome the pain of the loss is acceptance and hence moving on with the flow of life...

The poem is written by John berry man.
I had understood from this poem that things are not a permanent part of our life, they are only a medium to make our life easy and help in our day to day work.
Like in this poem the ball is a toy which is used make happy childrens, but sometime it become very crucial part of our life because we had spent a lot time to play with that, in few cases we become habitual of that particular things, after that if we loose that particular thing, we become very upset. So in that situation we have to rise from the sorrow of loosen thing, this only waste our time.So we have to understand that 'things are made to be lost', 'once lost time will never returns' and last one 'Money can't buy everything'.

Jo cheez aati hai vo jayegi hi jayegi.
