Shocking. Not only is the game nowhere near ready in terms of depth, content (given the base price) or balancing, releasing in the middle of steam winter sale also showcases very poor judgement. Something is going wrong with this company.
5:29 the reason why the stats increase is because the stats bar shows your current stats at the age (which means, as your caracther develops its personality and carrer, hes skills will increase)
6:21 command aura is the range of the boost of your general. you know how in empire/napoleon total generals have a circle around them that makes units inside that circle recover moral and marks the max distance of their rally skill? thats the command aura
After seeing mixed reviews in Steam for months, I decided to buy the game. (Only 17usd) i love it! Those Mel Gibson wanna be traitors didn't stand a chance against my redcoats lol. hope they won't abandon and keep release content and updates
With that price tag the development speed should increase and patches should be almost weekly. If there is no patch within a month then I think it will signal their intention to abandon the project quickly.
If no ones buying it and so paying for their livelihood what do you expect? Shame as there is no other games that cover this event. Sometimes pre release criticism will kill a game like this especially with a smallish player base. As it is i think the devs here set the bar too high for what they wanted to achieve.
Here's at least one good reason they might want to bother putting some effort into it: Because every person they burned with this is lost money going forwards. Another one might be the simple fact that, not only are people going to avoid these developers from now on (unless it's fixed) this game is also going to remain attached to their name as a colossal failure and make people think twice about purchasing their products. They're essentially killing themselves by releasing shoddy work, but that's their decision obviously.
Called. It. I knew this game was going to be an unpolished mess just like all their other releases. 4-5 years on and they are still updating the mess that is UA dreadnoughts but not this one huh? Company is going downhill but people are still buying so they have no incentive to change. Its really a shame because they have the most conceptually really good historical games but absolutely the worst releases.

Did Darth make this one? He’s not the whole company. For example I don’t think he was involved in Age of Sail, or Naval Action. He did do Gettysburg, Civil War, and Dreadnought.
@@thehistoricalgamerDarth is leaving the company, as are a lot of the team. The overall owning corporation is also into mobile device games and UA/UG is the least revenue generating department. This all bodes poorly for game support.

meh, they don't really bother with mod support. The community made best effort to create mod for civil war and J&P works against the game limitation while devss couldn't bother to help one bit.

Most of the places didnt exist back then. only places Britian had was new England, Virginia and Carolina. new york stat ewas called New Holland and the city was new Amerstedam as it was Dutch along with pensalvania and Florida was Spannish. everything from the cartolins and virgina to the missippi was French. so 3 colonies not 13. it also forgot to mention England was at war with France. Spain , Swedon and Denmark a the time so all the ships and troops were tied up in europe so it was colonial mitia that did most of the fighting. New England voted for indepence the rest voted to stay English. new England was a penal colony. when newgate prison in Londo was over flowing they transported the to Southampton and put them on the mayflore and shipped them to the new world. dropped them ashore with enough supplies and tools to survive till they could built shelter and get their own food. no taes either from the colonies. King gerogre made a decre that the colonist wetre exept from paying tax it also sated merchants seling food to the colonist charge half the gpoing rate and pay double for gods bought from them an the king wouldm kake up the differance out of English taxes it was the merchants who didced to over charge or under pay and blame it on taxes and also put up notices about taxes imposed by the king when it was the merchats who was getting all the money. Most had been thrown out of just about every country in Europe so got the war of inepenca started to give them a country to control.
Last time I buy one of their games for sure, unless they actually bother to patch amd fix it. Even then, I'm still going to think about it a few times before pulling the trigger again.
I expected to see battles like in ultimate general civil war but maybe that will come later...Looks quiete interesting tough and i hope youll do more of it...

What a shame. This underbaked game isnt ready for release, yet alone being finished and abandoned. The balancing is awful
