Yep. I'll have one soon!
Why would you pay more than £100 for a dumb phone
As someone who needs the hotspot for work the Punkt looks really nice.
Great list! I might get my hands on a Doro soon.. Got a Nokia right now, but it doesn't have whatsapp like some Doro devices do. And it's a must for where I live, sadly.
Really appreciate your explanation, every video really benefit so much.
In 2022 you put the blu tank flip and the cat s22 flip, but I see that this year you repeated the cat s22 flip but not the blu tank flip. Don't you consider it a good phone?
It's not as much of a value in 2023 anymore
I'm still happy using the sonim flip phone the knock off nextel without a camera, I'm using on TMobile, if I really need to look something up I'll bug mi esposa or wait till I get home to use my laptop or tablet.
I really wish HMD would release a Nokia phone with 4G and a QWERTY keyboard like the E6, E72, or even the Asha 210.
That’d be great! Don’t think it’ll happen sadly.
my lightphone II hasn't even hit a year and the phone it's self seems to be dying.
What about the Nokia 2780 flip???
I mentioned it in this video :)
Really hope Nokia 2780 will come to Malaysia, and the CAT S22 , in Malaysia really hard to get those phone as well.
A good & helpful review. I'm looking for one feature which seems to be missing in almost all the phones you've described EXCEPT the $329 Sunbeam F-1 Pro. The feature is talk to text (a phone that takes dictation (not typing) to respond to text messages. I don't care for most, even all, of the features, including TH-cam and the like. What would recommend in the sub $200 category? Thanks.
That feature is hard to find under $200. I recommend you look into the CAT S22 as that may be your only option.
Sad to see the Schok Classic Flip absent from this list. Still the only flip that can reliably install most Android apps.
Reason is that is hard to find and there is little to no support for it nowadays.
@@JoseBriones agreed bad support, but it’s on Amazon and gets to you in 5 days. I’ve bought two.
You are the product!
We all are!
Is a phone that has apps really even a dumbphone?
Dumbphones of the past had apps so maybe?
good stuff, bought your book looks tight. keep it up.
Please make a video on phones with 2g or GSM only, no LTE or 5G. Thank you!
Those don't work in the US anymore in many parts sadly.
@@JoseBriones they really want us to use 5g here in the US aren’t they😁
I'd love to have a Light Phone but sadly they don't work in Canada.
Great list Jose. I have an Emporia Touchsmart which has what i need. i.e. whatsapp, basic browser and decentish camera. but would be great if it had maps to. the downsides is that it lags sometimes, the battery isnt great and the stupid position of the camera lens. Apart from that its decent. touch screen is a big bonus to. You should try and get it to review Jose?
I'll look for it!
love your channel, its so helpful! thank you :)
I recently bought a brand-new MotoG 5G Stylus phone on eBay for $44. The seller had five more. Price is no longer a consideration if one wants a top tier phone.
Dude these dumb phones were like like 80$ in like 2011 . I remember kyocera made a lot of these for metro pcs. Everyone and their mom bought them for 40$ on special lol
You forgot to mention the Lively flip phone. That's a really nice simple phone too.
Sadly it’s locked to the Lively network
i think you should review the doogee smini.
The best flip phones Samsung W2019/W2018/W2917 or Samsung G9198/G9298 or for less Samsung I9235
For 500+ dollars and isn't locked to China?
@@JoseBriones custom roms still exist 😉
Hello! What dumbphones do you recommend under $100
I have not seen the video but it would be great that some of these phones allow installation of a few important apps like mobility or messaging.
Watch the video. There are phones in this list that can do that.
Great list! Weird question, where did you get your frames? They're awesome
Warby Parker :)
@@JoseBrioneshey thanks! Just started looking to de-tech my life a little and found your channel.
Which one would you guys recommend for someone looking for a dumbphone with whatsapp availability and also maps. Google maps would be preferable but not a must and price isnt a problem as long as its a good product
If price isn’t a problem then you definitely want an Apple Watch cellular. It has Citymapper and Apple Maps with pretty good gps and directions
so the Nokia 2780 is not suited or usable in the Netherlands? LP2 has a bad battery I constantly hear. I would like a small phone with non google OS, sd card and podcast and hotspot capability. Does this exist?
Thank you for this video!
Typing this comment on a shok flip, looking for something rugged, i am leaning tmwards the cat s22 flip
I want to have Light phone but it is not available outside of the US
Any experience with the Doro 7080? Its basically an upgrade of the 7030! Would love to hear your thoughts.
It will be faster and "better" than the 7030 but same functionality.
does the phones that work in the US also work in Canada?
Punkt and maybe Light Phone 2
Are there any dumbphones that can connect to a Garmin GPS so that you can use GPS and avoid traffic without a smartphone?
Cheers from Israel ! After the f21 pro I got the jelly that is very convenient for me. The new jelly is on the road and seems pretty goood btw
היי, איך היה השימוש בווצאפ בעברית בשיאומי?

my only like in all dumbphone is F22 pro.. just because its only an android phone touchscreen with keypad..and just like feature phone..the chipset is the most powerful on all dumbphone you mention on this video..that can do android multitasking and a advanced feature keypad phone.. all youve already mention on your list cannot do as,much as f22 pro in terms of performance and multitasking
If u pay more than 50 for a dummy phone then reconsider whose the dummy
After watching this video, I have decided that I will buy cat S 22 because it has WhatsApp and I think it can also on Spotify but I just want to know that in the long term the WhatsApp will be still functional because I don’t care about Spotify that much, but it should have a functional WhatsApp at least enough to have calls through Internet is this device trustworthy and can WhatsApp run on it for a long time as I am a student I don’t want any distractions which are from Smart phone that’s why I’m switching to this phone someone please answer this
It will be functional long term.
I am looking for a basic phone. Any price range and good build quality. I need only WhatsApp, any kind of navigation, email and a decent camera.
What would be the best phone for me?
Does anyone have an idea where I can get a new battery for my Xiaomi F21 pro? Mine isn't that good anymore...
They are not user replaceable. You'll have to buy a new phone altogether sadly.
A bit shocked by the reason why s22 got discounted
Can the Nokia ones be used as a mobile hotspot? Thank you. Great video
Only the Nokia 2780, the 225 Cannot
@@JoseBrionesI can't find it... it must not be available in my country😭😭 thank you very much though!
