Depending size of alliance. Maximize space with posts and base. I chose to put my lure and base near each other. Largest rally size.. active players..nests between lure and base. (Great for spider attack and lure) Want good rally size players around your lure in general. Shorter distance means more hits and more damage. (Especially if rally hopping) Vault, rss pool healing pool. Can go anywhere. I put them on the mud.

You do get an advantage on predator nest over melee with haste. Good example would be my level 29 nest does the same predator level as a lv26 haste user. I'm melee with higher stats.
Yes, haste has an advantage. Best way to see this is by looking at the predator nest report. It does or has change at higher nest levels. Look at the boosts nests have to thier troop type.
Varies on queen level. First research goal should be to aim for march slot.. But also depends on your goals. More power for your preferred troop type? Faster rss collection? Etc.
Traps are bottom of the list for me. As most people only attack guaranteed win. Levels below them. Which basically makes them mute. I like HP and defense increases for less losses though. Anyone else following this thread have research preferences?
