    really cute! question. other than the htv transfer layer. you didn't use parchment or a press cloth, etc between the mini easy press and the vinyl. why not and should you use a something between them? thanks!
    can't wait for tomorrow's video!! (it's the only live I'm able to watch! they are great!)

      You don’t need a layer between the mini press and the HTV because HTV has its own carrier sheet.
      For anything else, you’ll need the layer between if heat pressing or ironing.

  • @Salialto

    Can you do a mixture of iron-on and permanent vinyl? I only have some of the colors in permanent, and some of them in htv.

    I don't think this would make it one fall/winter season here as is. Could you recommend a good sealant? How much could you sell this for?

    Why use htv instead of regular premium vinyl?

    Do you recommend rollers from dollar tree.

    Could you stain edges then paint?

  • @donnadobbins
    @donnadobbins 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Isn't it a rule to not use an oil based stain with an acrylic paint because you won't be able to varnish it?

    I have a question for the cricuters here .. I currently do not own a cricut BUT am ready to buy one. WHICH ONE DO I GET .. lol. Have they made enough improvements to justify a Maker 3 over the Maker .. and is there really much difference between the Explore and the Explore 3. I am interested in eventually cutting fabric so does that mean I would need the Maker? I have been watching many of the Makers Gonna Learn videos and I'm still not sure ..... HELP .. Please

    • @MakersGonnaLearn
      @MakersGonnaLearn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Cricut Maker 3 is a total upgrade. It is more faster, powerful, and can cut over 300 different materials while the Explore only cuts around 100 different materials. You can check this video for more details: th-cam.com/video/S-_Aw8Mxcfw/w-d-xo.html

      If you plan on cutting fabric, you’re definitely going to need the Maker or Maker 3. The only difference is really the speed. At the same time, you can tell the machine to cut faster on Design Space. I have the Maker and I love it. I have the Joy also but only because I’m going to be organizing family members houses for them and it’s easier to carry.
      I started off just wanting to do one thing and then I ended up getting into so much other things.

      I was in the same position when I first started out, I didn't know wat to get, or where to start, so I did my research and what I found out Is your better off having somethin and not needing it then to NOT have somethin and need it, what I mean is the maker is amazing. That's what I have and yes the maker 3 IS faster and cuts more, but my maker cuts anything that I have needed to cut. Plus the maker is cheaper than the maker 3. The only thing I see that would be a great advantage is if you want to cut loner pcs, ALOT. If im not mistaken the maker 3 cuts up to 5ft at a time [someone pls correct me if im wrong]. To me if it's between a maker [or maker 3] and an explorer, believe me you will DEFINITELY be happy with the maker series. I hope this helps you somewhat in making your decision b/c using a cutting machine is such a game changer and its super fun! Have a blessed day. 😊

    Question...why do you use HTV instead of regular vinyl for this project? Does it adhere better?

    Sorry guys, but the apostrophe needs to be after the Y. It is a contraction for you all.
