i will ride my 50 cc over to yer house someday Scotty. The skquewk traffic is horrifying now though.
Just bought a John Deere X570. $8000!!!!!
Come on Scotty, hook up your fancy scan tool, tell us if it's got any codes.
Fuhahahhacking hell ya! Use that fancy one!🤣😉
I’m a rider, and I ride with three key principles in mind: 1. They don’t see you 2. They don’t care 3. They’re trying to kill you 😕
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
San Antonio?
Makes for an enjoyable ride, Robert. lol
@@Larry-gn1xj hahaha well it’s not all that grim. I just ride rather defensively 😇. I’ve retired in the Philippines, so I sold my CBR 1000F and am now on a 125cc scooter 😎
I'm 73 I've got a Honda Silver Wing 600cc bought it used 3 years ago, it's a 2002 with 17,000 miles paid $1,500 for it I had it up to 80mph today on the interstate it was tacking 6000 rpm's smooth ride.
giant scooter👍
It's a Honda, run forever..
I have the reflex it's the little brother of the silverwing, they are great mopeds
😢
@@terrellmiller5523 I can put a 12 pack of beer under the seat, try that !
I enjoy riding. I have owned all major brands, all different styles. I enjoy scooters the most. Twist and go.....feel the flow. Yes, I have a license. Commercial, with all endorsements. MC, and airplane license. Sorry, not a busa boy, hogger, sport bike or dirt boy...... just enjoy what ya got
The industry is on life support with all the shocks.
lol.
😂🤣😂🤣👍🏻👍🏻
Looks like a cheap bike
And self inflicted wounds...😂😂😂
😅😅
I picked this exact scoot up a month ago. 2 yrs old with 62 miles.
I've put 900 on it this short time.
I LOVE IT! Of all the bikes I'd guess Scotty doing a video, if never think it would be mine.
I miss the Big Ruckus and the SilverWing! Those were cool scooters.
I have a Honda 300 scooter. It's perfect for the city, I live in a big European city. Sometimes I take it on the highway
and can cruise at 80 mph.
Could not find one of those on the Honda North America product page. 160 or 50 cc are the only models.😮💨
"Born to be Mild"...
"butt cancer"... "extra-sized people" lol modern day poet.
@@Jadae wtf is butt cancer lol
72 and down to riding my Vespa GTS 300! It’s a blast.
hoping to get a vespa 300
After going 400 burg to a burgman 650 i can't go back to anything lower!
Originally a dirt bike rider, I use the rear brakes most of the time for reducing speed, and both front & rear when I want to stop
The front brakes on any motorcycle, car, truck provide at least 70 percent of the braking!
What do you use for a wheelie😮
@@melvinhunt6976 I almost exclusively used the rear brake for 100% of the braking.
Scotty this little gem gives me thought of getting one. I’m 75 and have a motorcycle license but, haven’t driven one for a number of years. No gears to change, ABS front brakes, looks like a great tooling around bike for us ‘old farts’ who want to tool around using discretion!
Do it!
I have rode motorcycles for many years, and one thing I know for sure is you better Not use the front brake only when stopping. Apply both brakes evenly. Careful what you say Scotty, people listen to you.
Heavy bike fallen over ....theres a French lady stunt rider who shows how to effortlessly raise a heavy bike off the ground in the video shorts . Skill required
His knees would explode if he tried to do the reverse cowgirl lift
Front brakes provide 70% of the braking, if applied correctly….
Correct
Motor cycles have a hand operated front brake & a foot operated rear brake.....
I never touch the foot/rear brake unless I want to do a skid
Weird. I always used the back brake. Maybe it's because I learned how to ride a bicycle with the old-fashioned brake in the rear, and no brake on the front. I never trusted the front brakes when they came out on the first 3-speed bikes. Just seemed like it was asking for the front tire to skid or grab, sending me over the handlebars.
I always coasted on a bike with my right foot to the rear and the left foot to the front, so I always applied the rear brake with my right foot. That was the habit I had, even after I graduated to a 10-speed with hand brakes. The left-hand brake was the front. The right-hand brake was the rear. I almost always used the right-hand brake, because it was the rear wheel. I always felt like I had more control that way.
When I graduated to a motorcycle, I used the right foot for the brakes. Left hand for the clutch. Right hand for the throttle. I almost never used the front brakes. I knew what to do with a rear skid, but a front skid was something I didn't feel like I could control, and I mostly stayed away from it.
I didn't consider myself any kind of fancy bike-rider. I just wanted to get around on my Honda 350 XL.
Only time I use the front brake is sitting at a red light on an incline.
@@mrgarrison3516these bikes have brake levers for front and back wheels. They are a CVT type transmission.
Only manual transmissions have the foot pedal for the back brakes.
I have a adv and love it. I was going to buy a electric bike but they are garbage.
good choice. ebikes are overpriced garbage that wont last long
Moped has pedals and usually 50cc. The ADV is classified as a scooter/motorcycle and required proper license.
Where i came from, with those Honda, you can carry your wife, 2 kids, and some luggage, traveling hundreds of miles on vacation 😂😂 and its fun.
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
Wish I could see the entire bike. Scotty is in the way.
its a great scooter..very popular in asian countries!
Its a SCOOTER not a MOPED... Moped has PEDALS so you can ride it like a bike and legally must have less than a 50 cc engine...
🤓
Bingo!👍
Bikes have pedals. Not mopeds.
Mopeds aren't meant to be ridden in bike traffic. Many use gasoline and are registered like motorcycles and go 45 + mph
Thousands of models of scooters are available. You might look at what terminology people actually use.
The best thing to increase the car longevity, is changing the engine oil regularly, specially when you have manual transmission.
Omg scotty!!!
I am so glad to come across you again brother!!
I was told you had past away about a year a go!!!
I thank the lord you are up and running brother
God bless you boss and keep inspiring and motivating us young folk!!
A moped would have pedals
Don't give him ideas, he will do a video on pedal cars next.
It's like a touring motorcycle had a baby with a scooter but identifies as a sportbike (so has sportbike makeup on its face but not the rest of it)
100 mpg that's why people ride them plus they are just fun
I’m 62 and chose not to renew my motorcycle this year to many crazy people on the roads
It's a non-freeway legal motorcycle, NOT a moped. MoPEDS have pedals.
I have a Suzuki Burgman 400. I love it.
A lot of people really like the Burgervan. More power to your elbow.
Me to🙂
Big maintenance headache with the burgman
@@andrewmaresca8781 strange. I’ve had mine since 2006 (or 8) and not one problem.
I’ll stick my vintage scooters that I own , my 1960 Lambretta series 2 and my 1987 Vespa T5 👍🏻all the best from the U.K. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Thanks for recognizing the value of Honda's mid-size scooters. Also, PCXs are the more street-oriented model.
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
Thanks Scotty

The shockening continues
Scotty love it when you do motorcycle content
Hi 👋
Hi Scotty all the way from S.E.A. That Honda ADV 150 is a popular hyperscoot here in Asia.
I want one, would look nice next to the GoldWing 😊
Hell, just carry it on the back of thr goldwing - never know when it will come in handy.
Scotty, this true I drive a red Ford Ranger, and I was rear ended in town while at a stop sign! Lady behind me forgot I was still in front of her yielding to traffic.
I always said I would never drive an "arrest me red vehicle ". Color was not an option.
It does amaze me how many people Do Not see me in a red vehicle! Except the Sheriff once.
I really want one of those
Getting 42-50 miles per liter lol
And highway legal
I love my 99 Honda helix still runs great cn250
How you doing today
I have the old honda reflex it's a moped, 250cc automatic transmission, I love it but not as much as my done up Yamaha Zuma 2 stroke 50cc, people who hate on mopeds have never ridden one, I let so many people ride my bike when they ask and every single one of them love it no matter what there ride is whether it be a harley or crotch rocket
In south east Asia this is a trusted means of commuting vehicle.
Widely used since majority of population use two wheelers for many reasons.
You should review your fjr. Pretty sweet bike.
My neck hurts after watching Scotty!
"Never buy new if used will do".
Lots of automatic, powerful, low mile gas scooters(some with ABS)for cheap. . .Because real motorcyclists don't want them. . .And former Vespa type' geeks are into all things electric.
Like the Piaggio(Aprilia) MP3. . .BMW 650 GT with ABS. . .SUZUKI BURGMAN 650 with ABS. . .Etc.
All more than freeway capable!
I take my reflex on the 110kmh highway here in ontario, and have toured all over the province with it
I have a Honda Deo crushing and Elite they are all great
I like that seat for my 2012 pcx150. Hate the bump.
I need to see Scotty’s motorcycle surfing technique.
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks Scotty for your interesting insight and fun videos.
Had a used 05 road king droped in parking iam prety strong guy but it took me all my strengh to pick it up the proper way, some bikes no joke in weight.
It’s called a parking brake, not an emergency brake.
In older cars - I don't know about newer cars - the parking brake was the emergency brake that used a cable system to apply the rear brakes, iirc.
Would it be possible to make a Kymco AK550i Review?
An FJR?! Nice! Great bikes.
Im excited for the polara
Rocking the old Canadian tuxedo I see 😅😂
Denim Dan
You’ll have a blast with the slingshot and they now make a conversation to make them 4 wheel.
I think my next lawn mower will be one of those old fashioned reel mowers. Basically all you have to do is keep the main wheel bearings oiled and the blades sharp and you are good to go. But if I get a new one with an engine it's going to have a Honda engine. These Briggs & Stratton engines once were good but now you're lucky to get four years out of them before they are burning oil or you have to replace the carburetor - again.
Don't waste your time, I brought a reel more back to the store after 2 weeks it cuts the existing blades of grass really well but leaves or kind of skips over long skinny weeds.
When the cellphone came out I turned in my motorcycle card, that took all the fun out of riding!
I have a new maxi scooter also, It is great fun...
I'm curious about top speed on basically flat road (I may have missed). Sounds like a great back and forth to work or beat around town as fast as gas mileage.
I have owned this scooter for a couple of years and I'm thinking of selling my 300cc Honda Forza, as this is more versatile and rides better.
Do more of these, Scotty! It would be cool to see you review a Honda Monkey and a Honda Super Cub.
PLEASE review a Hawk 250 EFI SCotty!!!! they are awesome honda clone cg250 bikes
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
Terry Fox stopped running across Canada at Thunder Bay too … cancer
💯
Nice but I still prefer pegs, clutch, gears, even with no abs and electronic "safety" features.
My 2010 Impala still gets 32mph. With a trunk and hvac
Scotty, I bought a Honda Navi last year out the door $2700 bought it in Troy New York! Rides like a motorcycle, not like a scooter 110cc automatic CVT transmission. Put it on the back of my van in the Florida, Cape Cod and Maine with it just a lot of fun.
I have a 168cc EFI scooter and love it. In my state license plate says motorcycle. I guess they go by the engine size. I've had it up to 65mph plenty fast enough for me and happy with it.
you are mixed up about TERRY FOX who was running across Canada. Not on a lawnmower.
WTH, is that a rear shock with reservoir!? Some Honda motorcycles don't even get that lol
Be nice to know how to get it faster
Polaris makes good stuff. I have a 325 cc Trail Boss. It needs a new spline gear in the transmission.
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
Have you look around lately Scotty, I think that American Flag was exactly right!!!
Check out the Honda Pacific Coast. I had one, great bike if you do not plan on also having a car.
I'm guessing that the Corbin seat is a mod because Corbin makes THE BEST motorcycle seats, VERY pricy but comfortable.
lol @ ABS being big deal on motorcycles. Im not sure about US but in EU you can't sell them with out it for a while now.
I have the Reflex. I love the xtra leg room
Need the 350cc in usa. To small for normal sized adults.
My dad gave me a cub that he bought new. He daily drove it and it's still going strong after 500,000kms. I think me and my dad will die from old age before that think breaks.
C70 or C90? The only thing that killed them was the font suspension rusting out.
Too much and too often maintenance needed for scooter engines and CVTs and stuff... too annoying unless you hardly ride it anywhere
The Corbin seats are comfortable.
I gotta get one of those in retirement for small town bopping
Why is this scooter and motor cycles generally so uneconomical? When you think how light this scooter is compared to a modern car it should be doing 200mpg. Big cars are now doing 50MPG here in Europe.
I live in Japan and I had the big brother, the XAdv 750, loved it.
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
How on earth a Southeast Asian market scooter made its way into the Unites States?
Great Marketing
Be great if it had more cc
Fun to ride , wouldn’t want my best friend to see me on it.
People do lawn tractor racing. Check it out.
Man on Lawnmower, the Straight Story?
3100.00 USA dollars in Indonesia
I have one .
Scotty,
I recently bought a 2006 town and country with 34000 miles. With such a low mileage car being 18 years old, what fluid/preventive maintenance should be done to keep this car running for many more years?
Probably none.
Toyota should make motorcycles!
I like to use my clutch.
The hand waving is extremely irritating love the videos though Scotty..
I would NEVER pay $5K for a moped!
Besides my 2008 honda civic, I also got a brand new honda CB300R, it's really nice.
The industry really shouldn’t be shocking folks
I really miss my 73 Honda trails ct70 a 3 speed semi automatic no clutch. A great way to learn at 10 years old to break down and replace the rings. Tranny simple fix,
You're a positive force!
Thanks email 👍✍️💯
It’s a scooter . By law a moped has pedals and is 50cc and under
Yeah email 👍✍️💯
