I notice that when it is English dubbed, they show the literature books in here in Italian. But if the movie will speak in Italian, then they read it in English
Why's he burning that book anyway? I thought he was a fan of it? I mean makes a great intro love the sound of it hitting the fire. It'd be neat if it turned out he bought dozens of copies of it.
No one does awkward "funky" horror themes like the Italians and Goblin in the 70s and 80s, and I love it.
Great and meaningful opening! Love Dario Argento's giallos
Great film, superb soundtrack and the added bonus of the wonderful John Saxon.
Gloomy Vale that dude is in everything I swear
The song is beyond unbelievable. I have NEVER heard anything like it.
zoomers gonna zoom

ohmygawd.... the fucking soundtrack.

good.
especially how it just *BAM* starts when the book hits the fire. 🤯🤯🤯
Love this movie.
This movie is in a caliber all its own!
In my view Tenebrae is the best Italian giallo horror film ever... Its also one of Dario Argentos greatest films.
What happened to the girl who turned him into a monster and behaved so cruelly to him? Did he take his revenge?
Yes, he did. He stabbed her to death.

I think it just emphasizes killer's resolve to act, this book could also be seen as first sacrifice of his last humanity
At least from what you can see in the movie, it seems like he has at least two or three copies of the book, funnily enough.
Viva Tenebrae
