I don't think some of the moments in the video are romantic, and a few of the Doctor&River's romantic scenes aren't in the video. For example, the scene in Name of the Doctor is the most romantic moment in the series. The man loves his wife so much that he defies the laws of physics and kisses her ghost. Even the universe bowed to their love.

I'm also struggling to really buy into 15's friendship with Ruby. I feel like we're just being told to believe it without doing the work of showing us those moments of bonding. The Rogue was a much more exaggerated version of that problem for me. Still think the last four episodes have been great overall, but building believable relationships seems to be something that RTD is struggling with this season. Which is weird, because that's normally his biggest strength.

i agree 100%, the whole Rogue episode has the doctor being horny like a teenager, maxing sexual innuendos, dancing in a sexual way, crying and basically marrying the guy while Ruby was in danger. Gay people should be mad because they got the doctor being gay and then marrying a guy the doctor hooked-up with...but still calling it a relationship. That is an insult to genuinely good gay-relationships. Even if we want to "forgive" most of this garbage, this is a wasted occasion to show a GOOD gay-relationship, not based on "being horny".

i really love how this has been posted to shame that episode. I really speaks miles about how a pathetic horny teenager Ncuti looks in that episode. It tells us the difference between romance and just hook-up, It's just sad that it happens between two men, which kinda shits on homosexual relationships. That episode pretty much mocked the gay community...it's awful.
